MTW2 >>>KIEV-RUS<<< version 1.0
I.
Please note Kiev-Rus based on Regnum Dei All Factions version 1.7.7 Premium. Thats because I play it myself to have the possibility to play All Factions. So my thanks to Regnum Dei for good work.
All files are here included so you dont need any other.
II.
In Kiev-Rus you start with only Kiev no more Novgorod, this fact can give more challenge for russian player in the long run to rule the world!
Dont forget Mongol Hordes often target Kiev in their invasion.
Why Kiev? Because Kiev was so called the mother of all Russian cities, the Capital of the Rus!
Please note: At 1080 Kiev was not rebelled as in original CA-Version. On the other hand Novgorod was more a merchant city and dont play the same role. Now you can get the feeling of the problems a russian ruler had in this time with all the invasions and own expansions.
Some other changes: Halych dont belongs to poland. It is orthodox and no more catholic(historical there lived Russians and they were orthodox). Poland now starts with Cracow and Thorn (because near Cracow and a castle too) so they are near to baltic regions.
Kiev dont trade with slaves but with grain.
III.
To Install:
1. Backup your original CA files
2. Copy/paste the file "DATA" in the maindirectory of your game and replace the original "DATA" from CA
Example: ---> D:\Sega\Medieval II Total War
3. Dont forget to delete the oroginal "map.rwm" in your directory that named "BASE".
Thats all. Have fun and rule the world ;)!!!
