QUERY - ai battles on lan

Hi, I've played all the total war games from the beginning but never really got into multiplayer. I just bought a friend a copy of M2TW for Xmas so we could try some LAN battles and had some fantastic fun.

I was wondering whether it was possible for us to play cooperative games aginst the AI? I can't see an option there but I would quite like to have a battle with more than two armies on the field on a LAN.

Any help much appreciated.

Nope, the option ain't there. I guess CA thought not too many used it, so they took it out, pity for some, but personally I never used it
