Is there AI in multiplayer?

basically it, a friend and i wanted to LAN against sum NPCs but uh... cant seem to find where to add em, is it even possible in this game? maybe a patch we need or sumthin. Running 1.0 here

In LAN battles you cannot set an AI to play against or with. For example, you and AI against another player and AI, in a 2 v 2.
LAN games are only for human players.
