An AAR is a campaign or battle played entirely by you. You run everything, fight all the battles, and write the reports.

A PBM is a collective AAR. There are two styles of PBM:
- One player does it all for a certain amount of turns, writes it up, then passes the savegame along
- One player controls the game for a certain amount of time, but each player is their own avatar and they fight their designated battles. They also help direct policy.

Sound good to me.

Question of my own. Why does the AAR link in the RTW section connect to here? Shouldn't it have its own?

No all AAR's are here.
