Also, I have noted that some players are having difficulties seeing and/or
hosting matches. In almost all cases, it is because one player has not patched
to version 1.1. Please make sure you have patched Medieval II to the most recent version, and be sure that if you are behind a firewall, that it is properly
configured to allow you to host matches in Medieval II. Also, I recommend that
all players re-read the FAQ for City Under Siege, as some participants are
confused on how the host of the match is chosen. The FAQ is here:

I talked to a bunch of the contestants yesterday, and they all play in like every gamespot tournament, so they just buy a billion games and spend 1 hour a week on them until they buy something new and throw it into the closet. It shouldn't be that much of a challenge, though they are randomly assigning matches so the chances of me meeting up with par and demok or them meeting before the finals is likely, I would have rather 2 of the three been there to recieve the award rather than some of the gamestop crew, but what can you do.
