View Full Version : The 3 Sons of Algamar - Mini Mafia [Concluded]
The king of Algmar recently passed away. Panic has broken out on the streets as his 3 criminal son’s and their factions battle over their fathers land. Few have seen the kings son’s or know of their identity yet all are now dead. Sir Boo captain of the watch has called together a forum of villagers. Knowing that all in the crowd support different factions Sir Boo proclaims a new law. Every day one villager will be voted for and then lynched by the public, in the hope that one faction will rise above the rest and the murders of innocents will stop.
(sorry about the crappy intro)
Win Conditions:
Each faction wins by either :
- Wiping out all other Factions completely
- Destroying the leaders (eg killing the 1st king then killing the new king if he didn’t appoint a new champion)
The 3 factions are:
Canthan Riders
Dreitec Republic
The Riders of Hestati
Roles:
Sons: Can be assassinated and Lynched yet has a very small chance of dying in the assassination attempt. The son is only known by his champion and if killed the champion will take his place (see champion for more details). The king functions as a normal townie except he is able to command his champion and assassin. He also has the ability to execute them in the night phase if he feels they are becoming treacherous.
Assassins: Each son will be given his own assassin. They can attempt to assassinate any player even there own leader, if they are loyal to the champion instead. The assassin can also be recruited by other leaders however the leaders first assassin will then become a champion and the kings old champion executed. However when this happens both assassins still retain their role except the old one will get the title of champion.
Assassins can kill anybody but every roles kill chance is different, therefore it will be easy to assassinate townies rather than champions. Every night turn that an assassin kills an opponent his kill rating will increase. This makes it easier to take out bigger targets.
Champions: – The champions act like a townie in all respects, except they are very hard to kill. Once the leader is dead the champion then takes his place and must appoint a new champion. However if he doesn’t appoint another champion the faction could be destroyed.
Townies: – You act like a normal townie in all respects except each townie still has the option to assassinate a player. However the chances of this happening are very slim. Like everybody else townies can vote to lynch one person every day phase.

Sir Boo slowly walked out of the guards chamber and into the overwhelming crowd of citizens assembled in the courtyard, waiting in anticipation to hear the verdict of the days voting. His head bowed Sir Boo began to speak.
“My friends, we have been voting all day on who should join God in heaven or the Devil in hell. Many friendships have been broken today, many old ties crushed, yet my dear people a decision has been made. Guards bring Pevergreen up!”
The guards grabbed Pevergreen and thrust him onto the floor in front of Sir Boo. Unsheathing his sword quickly, the sound reverberating around the courtyard, Sir Boo began to speak.
“You Pevergreen have been found guilty by your fellow villagers of conspiring against the town and as such have been sentenced to a coward’s death. May God have mercy on your soul”
Sir Boo drew his sword back behind his head and with one clean swish of his sword sliced pevergreen's head clean off. Silence engulfed the crowd. Sir Boo thrusting his sword back into its sheath, made his way back into the guards chamber.

No one in the same faction would be stupid enough to vote for the same person, look at the people who constantly vote differently

The Night Phase Is Now Over!
The Events!
Sapi was riding home through the town square when suddenly he passed a young beggar curled up under a woollen blanket. As he was in a particularly good mood he decided to help this stranger and offered to take him back to his house. The beggar slowly hoisted himself up onto the back of Sapi’s horse. The stranger softly whispered “Im Sorry,” as he drew a dagger from beneath his clothes. Sapi, acting instinctively, smashed the stranger in the face with his elbow. The stranger fell back of the horse, his head smashing against the ground, a loud crack reverberating around the street. Sapi jumped off his horse inspecting the body of the stranger. He was definitely dead. Slowly he pulled back the hood covering the strangers face. Sapi gasped with terror as he saw the face of CountArach staring eerily back at him.
Sapi had no idea what to do, suddenly from no were an arrow struck him in the shoulder. Dazed Sapi staggered to his horse just as he heard the bow string draw back once again. Sapi threw himself onto the horse and rode away just as another arrow whizzed past his left ear. He was safe, for now anyway.
Ichigo was on his way to lunch when a stranger suddenly emerged from the shadow, walking the opposite way to him. The stranger was carry an umbrella yet Ichigo cared little for this. They had brushed passed each other in seconds. He didn’t even realise the small gash on his arm were the umbrella had cut into his flesh.
Warluster was in bed fast sleep. He didn’t wake up as an assassin slowly cracked the window of the down stairs kitchen. Nor did he wake as the man made his way up the creaky stairs. He didn’t even wake up as the assassin crashed into the barricaded bedroom door. Warluster slept through it all even when the assassin gave up and slowly crept away.
IrishArmenian was walking to the market when he noticed a glint of cold steel in the alley. He turned around just as the knife buried itself to the hilt in his throat. He collapsed soundlessly on the ground.
Ichigo had finally made it to the restaurant and was enjoying a very tasty shrimp soufflé. Suddenly from behind the bar a figure through an object at his head. Ichigo through himself back off his chair, the object now resembling a cat splattered against the wall missing Ichigo by a mere inch. His attacker immediately fled the scene, Ichigo was safe.

Hm, through s study of posts, I have realised this- pevergreen was bandwagoned at the start by people he collectively called one of the familys. He had no proof and was lynched. sapi nwas of the accused part of the family, and if he was part of an faction. But pevergreen was killed, this fact aided the fact that there was no rpoof.
This is my theory part- sapi and ichigo were attacked, and they were part of the people pevrgreen accused. it means 4 people attacked them. (2 each) and pevergreen was accusing them, that means he might've passed info onto the rest of his faction, and they have all attacked most of the accused. Well two of them, and the other two attacks are just random. So this proves that pevergreen is part of an faction.
CountArach was a member of the Canthan Riders. I suspect my other assaliant was too, as it'd make sense for only one faction to know my identity.

The Events!
ChuggTheSquirell was down at the local Fruit Shop, buying some Nuts. it was dusk, and no one was outside. There was a slight breeze, and Chugg bought the rest of the nuts from the Nut Seller. He then walked away, and there was a sharp snap as the Nut Seller shut the door. Chugg put away the uts in his Nut Holder, and kept walking. When he heard an slight cough. There were houses on either side of him. There was the scraping as feet hit gravel. But he wasn't moving.
"Who's there!?" said Chugg. No reply, the wind picked up. When he saw a person out of the corner of his eye. He whipped around, to see someone in swirling black robes. He raised his hand, and to Chugg's horror he saw an knife. An Ninja Knife. Chugg tackled the stranger to the ground, and they wrestled until Chugg got the Ninja knife and put it to the person's throat.
"Who do you work for!?" yelled Chugg,
"I...I Work for sapi" but the stranger kicked off Chugg, throwing a second knife which jsut missed him by an inch. Chugg run for his life the assailant snuck away.
Warluster was walking along the cliffside nearby his manor house. He was admiring the view in the moonlight, when a dark figure lept out of the shadows and collided with him, sending his tumbling form over the edge of the cliff.

The stranger is not playing... the list was updated because he abandoned the game an hour before it started.
I assume that Caius replaced him because he is the only player not on the original signup list.

My role required me to contact factions and ally with one, and while i've done so, i'm not going to share any information that was gained in confidence.

Ichigo was walking along his patrol route at the docks, protecting them from pirates was no small matter, you had to work at it. It was almost the end of his shift, he couldn't wait to get back home and get some sleep. He didn't even notice the shadowy figure crouching behind the crates waiting to spring his trap. Just as he stepped past what looked like a mooring rope the figure rose up and pulled on an end of the rope, the rope with the hidden blade inside of it hit him between the legs, cutting him in half within a few seconds. His halves fell onto the ground only to be rolled into the water by the figure who melted into the shadows and was gone.

If I am not mistaken, there are three people in each faction? Which means everyone left alive is part of a faction?!
there is one thing that could've happened, if there are three people for each faction, lets say one was killed/lynched, that leaves 1 townie and 5 Baddies.
So now we need to figure out who is the baddies and who is the Townie!
So i say lets put them through a test, everyone is to post there Role PM, proving that they are a townie,
OS remember, there 5 baddies and 1 townie left...

Because he is a newbie who surived till the later rounds, veterans don't like that. He's probably a townie or he would have made a reveal by now...
It would be very hard for mafia and all to fake that type of grammar. And besides me and you are the only people that spell his name sapi (as opposed to Sapi) and I know I didnt do it.

The Roles + Write Up!
Ichigo - Son of the Dreitec Republic, After Ichigo's assasin was executed in the first day phase his faction was at a loss and from round 1 defeat was a big possibility
Pevergreen - Assasin of the Dreitec Republic, He had little to play in the game as he was lyched 1st round.
IrishArmenian - Townie of the Dreitec Republic, He accidently voted for his own assasin and managed to get him lynched only to be killed that night...
Warluster - Champion of the Dreitec Republic, Played a very good game kept himself underground. However after the first failled attack the assasin began to think he was maybe not jsut a townie...
Sasaki - The Plague Bringer, His role was to infect everybody who was alive at the end of the game and survive until that time. However he was only able to infect people who voted for him. In the first round he infected Ichigo yet infected nobody else. He was infact part of the Riders of Hestati faction...
Chuggthesquirrel - Assisin of the Rider of Hestati, Fantastic work from chugg especially as he is new. He was behind at least half of the murders and achieved full assasin status and was then able to assinate Ichigo.
ByzantineKnight - Son of the Riders of Hestati, Fantastic work again, very good partnership with Chugg.
Lord motep - Champion of the Riders of Hestati, Inactive due to PC problems
Cauis - Son of the Canthan Riders, Good game though unluckilly lynched later on in the game
Rhythmic - Assasin of the Canthan Riders, Very good assasin prevented suspision very well however was left on his own when the rest of his faction were slain.
Sapi - Champion of the Canthan Riders, Good play however tried to make to many under the table deals and suffered because of this...
CountArach - Townie of the Canthan Riders, Ok play yet was foolish to attempt a kill on Sapi as he was only a townie.
