These skins are all from the first release, and may have changed throughout the development process. Nevertheless, feel free to comment on anything that piques your interest.

How did you do these? How did you get so close to the ground? I'm thinking of doing a RS AAR and pics such as these would be great!

We run RTW with -movie_cam added to the shortcut. Play a battle. Save replay. Load replay - this will load it in movie cam mode:

Controls:
2 move forwards
4 pan left
6 pan right
7 move left
9 move right
8 move back
+ (on number pad) pan upwards
- pan downwards
* on num pad (I think - I'm on laptop at the moment so am trying to remember what the controls are!) move down
/ is it? (anyway it's the two keys above the numeric pad) move up
Enter play
Space stop (and removes interface if you hit it again)
Num lock (removes blue timeline)
Esc brings up interface / menu

Then obviously take your screenshots as usual with Fraps.

The only problem is though that I haven't found a way of saving campaign battles for video replay in movie_cam mode.

tonyw, I might be missing something here, but is there a special reason you need to record a campaign battle instead of a custom battle?

No, you can only record custom battles, so we need to take all of our screenshots there.

Are these Legions new factions or are they really new legions?

They are distinct legions, and so distinct units recruitable by Rome. A faction is an empire like macedon or seleucid or egypt so a legion (i.e. a military unit) can never be a faction.

Amazing how the legion's banner's show what region of the empire they're from.
One of the standards says Cyrenaica. Very detailed. :yes:
