oscarreeve BTW about the centaur units they work eccept that i cant load the models. So i had to use one of the games horse models.
Try testing it on your game.

also when i try putting the centaurs on to rome total war i get a ctd, i think i did something wrong when i added the desc_mount text but anyway if someone could add the centaurs to there rome total war and then send me the text files i can see what i am doing wrong

yes we still need a modeller to do the units............ but i contacted bwian and he has finshed the minotaur so that can be ticked of the list, and also meliritos is working on a giant. but they both said they can only do a couple of models so we still depraetly need a modeller.

It is not my model it was made by bwian who did it on 3ds max i just loaded the model on gmax to take the screenshot (for i do not have 3ds max ) so it is all ready a cas. file.

The minotaur has been uv map wrong it is all one piece i will have to uv map it again.

Hmmm, oscar already gave his permission but hey, what happened to the rights of the artists? Shouldnt i have a saying to that? Anyway of course you can use the model as soon as i finish it. This is a preliminary model i will have to work on that a little. What do you think?

You can scale it up and make a giant out of him or keep him as a human warrior. If you dont like it tell me to scrap it and i will do sth else. Anyway the model needs some finishing touches i will finish it this week.

Not yet, sorry, but i will work on that this week. The hard part is modelling and then skinning, uv mapping is easier. When i finish that i will do another, a one eyed faunus or sth like that. In fact i could do an army of faunuses i believe but ill have to work on that, i will come back to you on that later this week, ok?

good to see you are progressing well. do u think you could start on a calormene ground unit. i think it would have a kind of eastern style with a curved sword and if possible with a turban

The minotaurs bones are all mixed up it keeps crashing.
The centaur are ok so u can put them in your game.

In the .zip file i have sent you there are two files, the one called oscarreeve_skin.jpg, thats the one i prepared for you and one called oscarreve.jpg, thats a blank sheet you can use to make a different skin if you want. Of course you can change the skin, im not a skinner, and my skin is semi finalized, it needs head texture and hair. Inside the .zip file i sent you you will find a photoshop file with this skin, a jpg file with this skin, a jpg file with a blank skin for you to skin differently, a .cas file with the model and the 3dmax file.
