The plague

Nearly every article i have read about the game talks at some point about "the terrible Black Death" that "stalked the land".

I am speculating (this is the baseless speculation forum isn't it) that we will have to deal with this in the next installment of the TW series. Sickness and death from it will be a new factor.

Yeah but what would it do? kill your troops and half your population? THe troops you can train more again, and population never had any effect in TW games. They will have to adapt it some how or make population an issue in MTW? i wonder what they will do...

Maybe some of the new units are like doctors, and they help prevent the spread of disease and stuff like that. Then again, eurepean doctors weren't very effective.

it could be like a civ game, more population = more building power, but i doubt its going to be like that

Maybe it will be like a Typhoon and affect production in the province that is hit by it.

Yeah now that you mention it DP thats probably the best idea. But i wonder what it will do.

a doctor unit would be a major waste of money since they were as diseased and as louse ridden as everyone else.. if anything they would spread disease, visiting quarantined houses and such

yeah magy but not barbarians they were traders and very advanced as m sure you know anyway!

Bloody rats killed 1/3 of Europe! But then again 1/3 of Europe was probably gonna die from some other disease anyway the Black Plague just beat all other diseases to it!
