Don't know if this has been discussed before, but anyone know what MTW will have for the morale? Like ShogunTW or MongolTW?

Nice question...
Europeans were not like samurai...they weren't "prepared to die honourably".
I think...

You are right Tera. Most weren't so eager for battle and they must rout more easily than the Japs. But there were some units(the knights) that they wouldn't run and they prefered to die rather than running.
Also Byzantines didn't rout easily even if they were outnumbered most of the time.
I am wondering how the developers will make the game balanced and realistic at the same time. I mean some nations has lesser sizes of army but they were high quality and some has crap quality armies and they were based on NUMBERS only so how can they use the same men count and being evens?

Simple some nations will have the equivalent of Ashi as their special units. While others will have high honour like HC.

It is just a matter of what the default morale to the cost of the unit is. Low morale, low cost = peasant horde.

High morale, high cost = Templars.

It would be interesting to have some units that don't suffer from the route cascade yet have low morale themselves. I'm thinking along the lines of a massive peasant army where each unit has low morale such that it may run very easily. But it doesn't run if its neighbour does. That way you could field a large army and see a lot of them desert the field while some others fight on (briefly or for a long time).

On the other hand templars should not run easily at all. In fact some elite type units should only make their morale check if the total strength is less then x (use the total men in the field of that sort not individual units) within a radius (to stop leaving one unit at the edge... although if you take the radius off you end up leaving a unit at the edge as 'reserves').
