Thanks for the link Hach.

The preview says that the goal of battle is to capture the enemy general. I suspect this is more of a bonus to battle than the actual goal, but does this mean that we will be able to take prisoners? - e.g. 'The enemy general is running like a whipped dog, and you have captured 531 prisoners, of which 15 are of rank and can be ransomed.'

Also, the method for setting formations seems to be the same as STW. I was hoping they would take up the suggestion in this forum (I can't remember who from, sorry http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif) that we would be able to save our own custom formations.

Hey Thanks Hach! The "live" bit where you see bits of the game in action and listen to some of the music of the game in the background (Really good music once again) while the guy explains stuff is really quite cool.

Did anyone noticed that in one of the new pics (The winter battle scene) we see DOORS half open on the palissade in the background! YES!!!!

There is much more but i think i will start new threads....
