I am a huge Wheel of Time fan, and would love to see a WoT mod for Medival Total war, i mean make a specal Strategic Map but, it wouldn't be hard. Who wouldn't like to take the Band of the Red Hand agaist Demandred or Aran'gar. Or take an army thats 2/3 Legion of the Dragon, 1/4 Shienari Heavy Calvalry and the rest in Asha'man! I see definate possibilities!

No, Jordon is a creature of pattern. And has admitted he has a thing for the # 13. there more thatn likely will be 4 more books. And for those of you who don't know the Wheel of Time series... Extravengance, Legend, Romance, War, War, War, and two men who are like born-pissed-off shrews with sand in there asses. Literally the hole of Tolkien's LotR series could fit in Eye of the World (book 1.) If you have lots of time and like to read, read the series. 90% chance that you will join the humungous (almost cult like) fanbase. Oh yah, and to all you DBZ fans, five thing that WILL KILL ANYTHING!!!! Balefire, Machin-chin, Mashadar, Evil bunnies with big sharp pointy teeth, and the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

The Riftwar series would be interesting as well. I read it many years ago, but I remember legions of roman-like infantry vs swift and hard hitting cavalry, as well as some ingenious guerilla tactics on numerically superior foes. Tsurani, I beleive they were called.

Yes that series was written by Raymond E Feist. There has been a game released long ago on the series called either Return to Krondor or Escape to Krondor. Can't remembe which, but the Tsurani were invading from another world and had never seen horses. They were pretty much mown down by cavalry charges, except on foot they were superior because of their stamina, armour, arms and skill with the sword.
The Tsurani (I think) are based on the Japanese at the time of the Sengoku Jidai era but to find out more you must read a series by Raymond E Feist and Janny Wurts. The books have pretty much the same names i.e.

Daughter of the Empire
Lady of the Empire
Mistress of the Empire.

But Iam not sure if those are the exact titles.

But anyway Wheel of Time??? still draws a blank.
