Hi does anybody know anything about the lands of south calormene?

I've personaly always imagined it being jungle, with a massive range of mountains inside it, what are other peoples thoughts on this?

The way that I drew southern calormen on my map is based on 5 different maps that I could find of the world of narnia. It is pretty much arid plains with sparse hills, a large forest at the very south of it and the west is bordered by mountains with the volcano Lagour in the southern end of the range. The maps that I used showed only bits and pieces. I put them together as best I could.

I have no idea what Telmar remotely looks like. No map of it exists and Lewis never described it. The only thing we know about Telmar is that it is large enough to border Narnia and Archenland. It lays past Cauldron Pool and there is a pass into Telmar from the western mountains that border Archenland.

If it would help I can try and pull the map out further to include at least a part of Telmar.

Surley it must be much further west than the writing, otherwise it would practacly be part of Narnia...
