I played the old version with 2 empire factions, chaos, and high elves.

It was good, but I felt the chaos units were like WOOOOAH powerful...

Needed a massive block of empire to beat a few chaos warriors:embarassed:

But yeah, if you need help testing and stuff, I should be available to test on the weekends...just dont count on me too much on the weekdays :dizzy2:

What I've tried to do with units is not necesarily to tone them down, but certainly to give the nations more counters and answers to things. Empire now has the option of mercenary Tilean Pikemen who provide a VERY solid line against Chaos, plus next release the Empire will have extra troops for harassing or blowing up the Chaos Horde. Empire may never be the strongest faction, but they will have more troop options than almost any other race.

Well if you (or anyone else reading this) could help at all any work you could do would be much appreciated - there are many different bits of modelling to do so the work can be a simple or complex as you want...

Couldn't you borrow some of the models from FATW for the orcs?

I cant speak for the devs of that mod but I would think they would be more than happy to let you work with them.

I fear you will have to work from scratch on the Skaven though.

Skaven really will have to be left out IMO because Underempire is in the fluff unassailiable to anyone else. Orcs could be peasants in green ata pinch
