Actually there is a way to keep that one city thought lost from RTW to M2TW. And yes, the map will basically have the same cities. A few will be moved around a couple will be given up in order to place provinces in places of new factions. Basically the same map, though.

That one less I seem to remember only being necessary for the discovery of the Americas.

It differentiated between deep and shallow water, afaik.

Will the EB2 map have the same as the original? ('cept for that 1 less city) This post (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1660258&postcount=21) indicates that the map could be scaled up by up to 30% if the EB team finds it conductive to better gameplay or greater historical detail.

If its made larger, GREAT for us! Britain can be marched across in no time...

Use 510 pixels limit! (At least I) cant watch on a toy-looking vanilla-scale map. As map is big in covered areas, scale in this case will be optimal, I guess.

I believe the plan is to scale the map 1.3x its current size, that is the biggest map can be. Same area covered just more room to move around.

Maybe up to 1.5x. If bigger it will be boring yes, but in it current scale its also not cool.

Is it hard to make a map for this engine?
