Like hospitaller or templar knights in vanilla... that would be nice.

I like the idea.I would really like to see Order of the Dragon in the game. But,which factions should have the guild? Serbia and Hungary or?

im not certain that order actually had its own units. order certainly had some powerful individual members among high nobility, but i newer read that they actually equipped and sent a whole unit into battle. if im wrong correct me.

Yes,You are right. They didn't have own units like Teutonic Order or Knights of Saint John.Order numbered 24 selected nobles.Serbia,Hungary and maybe Wallachia should have the guild. That's my suggestion.

William Wallace a member of the order of the dragon:wizard: ha ha ha ha. this is too much... cant anyone see that pictures of him with that helmet are from much later period.

well we can have order of the dragon troops in game as long as we write in the unit description that this is not historically accurate, or even better it can be optional download for the mod (im personally going to disable them in my campaign).

and please no dragon-helmet in this mod !!

but this brings some ethic questions. if we decide to ignore historical realism this time, we will be tempted to do that again (for some other cool unit:knight:). i dont want this to turn into fantasy mod.

I agree with Matko. Order never had their own units so including them would be unhistorical. So, no order of the dragon units.

I think they should be included as a guild, and generals and family members could get some traits and retinue from them, like bonus against muslim, higher piety and similar stuff...

Agree with Sarmatian. a nice "order of the dragon" trait would do. and membership in order should raise character influence. maybe there should even be "master of the order of the dragon" trait that would improve influence even more.

these are NOT paintings that originate from the period WW lived !
if you know anything about history of arts than you will see that these paintings are not from middle ages at all. so they could not be considered as a relevant sources.

So, you think that artists who draw this, put dragon on helmet just for fun. OK, you must be right I am a bit dumb:dizzy2:

Like I said phoenix[illusion] and Sarmatian will decide what is best for mod. I don't like to argue with nobody. It's OK lets have fun:birthday2:

If team decide to make it as a trait, should have picture like this

For their symbol, the Order designed an insignia of a dragon with its tail coiled around its neck; on the back of the dragon, from the base of the neck to the tail, is the Red Cross of Saint George, with the entire image on an argent field. The dragon represented The Scarlet Beast of the Book of Revelation while the red cross represented the victory of Christ over the forces of evil. Members were required to wear the symbol (often as a medallion) at all times and were often buried with the symbol.

Thanks bro,but it was 5 minutes of work really. The font is wrong, the colors are not the same and the pictures are not worked on, this was only a mere idea.

I was talking about characteristics. Like bonus against muslim and higher piety and authority. That's the idea...

I have an idea, we could add dragon on the one of experience unit banners.
