One rainy friday night (much like tonight on the east coast of the us), a few Orgahs decided to hit the streets together and cheer up with a few beers and forget about the stress of the week. But one of these Orgahs was an evil teetotaler. And everytime they moved on to a new bar, the teetotaler killed one of the happy imbibers.
Roles:
8 Imbibers (townies) You drink and have fun, and try and figure out who is the evil teetotaler
1 Teetotaler (mafia) You abstain from alcohol and hate anyone who drinks, so much so that you kill one of them at any chance you get, usually when the crowd is moving on to the next bar ('night' phase).
1 Breathalyser (detective) You use your psychic ability to pick a person in the group and read their brain waves to see if their actually abusing their brains with sweet, sweet, alcohol, or if they're just faking it for hidden reasons.. but this ability is fueled by drinking, so you can only do this once per bar (day)
1 Secret role (secret) You use your ability to read a role PM at the beginning of the game to determine the game's goal for yourself, and what you can do to get there.

Oh, I'm not a huge fan of drinking either. But here I am in the most alcoholic mafia so far...

Prole was laughing and having a good time with everyone since the group had met up around 7pm at the park that was decided upon earlier. No one noticed until the group had already arrived at the White Horse Tavern that she was missing. After the first round had been ordered, Sigurd was seen bursting through the bar's entrance. He rushed over to the group looking alarmed, 'Have you guys heard? Prole's bloodied corpse was just found a few blocks away! You guys need to keep a better eye on each other, this city isn't that safe. You drunks have a good time, some people have to work for a living!' and with that Sigurd left.
Day phase, you guys are at the bar now, vote away.

The staggering/stumbling and drinking phases are what I was going for, calling it that does make it much simpler.
Most mafia games start in a 'day' phase anyway, which I always thought was a little silly since how can you have a mafia if no one's been killed yet.

I'm not being defensive- get a clue people -I was being proactive. I basically asked Ichi to admit his vote was random. Being innocent, I knew for certain that he had no information on me, but instead of saying he just made a random vote he makes some veiled reference to possibly "knowing" something about me. If he does, let's hear it- there's only 1 mafia in this game, yes? Reveal and end the game.
His original vote reasoning was crap "I think you're guilty", and then he goes on to suggest that he has some sort of information to base that on. Very scummy behavior. Had he just said it was a random rd1 vote, it would've been a different matter.
Edit: If you people think actually trying to base my vote on something rather than sheer randomness is scummy, then lynch me and be done with it. :shrug:
If I wanted to keep a low profile, I could've easily vote for someone who already had votes against them and no one would've thought a thing.

That's because this mafia game is actually somewhat interesting.
I sort of jumped back to my activity level of older games where I've been more active than in recent ones. If that scares you, that's fine, of course.
Besides, you cannot unvote Sarathos for two reasons:
1. the is a tie voting which usually means everybody votes again and previous votes don't count anymore which is directly connected to
2. this is a tie voting and you can only vote for Xiahou or Waldinger, thus it would make no sense to count votes from the previous voting
that said let's all vote Waldinger and be done with it. They may be both innocent or not but tie votings are somewhat boring, especially in the first round.

After much arguing and drinking, it was decided that Waldinger had to go. Right after the group had voted, SFTS was seen bursting through the door. Red wine has hardly lots and lots, usually around 20-30% IIRC while vodka has more like 30-40, maybe more. Also if vodka has lots of alcohol and is colourless, then maybe alcohol is colourless and thus vodka looks more like alcohol than red wine does. :dizzy2:

If you actually want to ask that, I might answer: Because he was wuestioning the integrity of dead pever who was apparently our detective and because he asked who was innocent according to pever. If pever gave away a liost of confirmed innocents, he could make sure they're killed before the endgame phase so that pever won't be of any help then anymore in case pever is allowed to give any names by that time. This sounds like a mafia tactic to me. Random lynching is less likely to get proven innocents killed than giving the mafia a list of people to kill.

Don't know about Caius, but Lurkers are suspicious IMO.

I'm quite bad at spotting the culprit (except when I was the serial killer in Andres' game - but we killed each other the same night) so at the moment, everyone seems more or less suspicious to me.
Due to the lack of ongoing discussion, its difficult to say who it really is.
At the moment, I'm more concerned about the Lurkers rather than active posters because you can read posts from those who post, not from Lurkers.

That is lousy reasoning Shlin. I think we can rule out Beefy and Garci because they have never struck me as arrogant enough to waste a kill on the host. Xiahou would have killed Pevergreen sooner if he was a mafioso.

Now that's an interesting opening to a mafia game. Never seen someone kill the host before. Is that even allowed? Could be a clever mafioso trick but it is enough for me to say he is innocent at the moment.

out of those three suspects, I'm leaning towards Andres.
Shlin28 doesn't strike me as guilty in this game.
