Lycan's Revenge [Concluded]

Lycan dropped to the ground panting, he had just escaped. After hiding amongst the humans, he had been found out. He had underestimated them. ElmarkoFear was not killed. He had failed. He looked up, seeing a servant standing there, as if nothing had happened. He gave a primal roar and ripped out the throat of the servant. The servant's dying gasps brought the attention of two men in the room next door. They ran in and immediately dropped to the ground, in a disgraced form of a bow. Lycan got to his feet, spitting on the still twitching body of the servant. "Rise up you fools! We haven't long before those humans find a way here. Prepare the defenses!" The men ran out of the room, the faces towards the ground, in a bow, never turning away from Lycan. Lycan moved to his throne room, looking out the westward window. He knew the humans were coming to finish him off. He had little time to prepare.

The next day Lycan received reports of an outpost being over-run. He neglected to send scouts out, knowing they would die. He sat down, troubled. He could not be sure if it was the humans, or the other rivals he had.

A townsperson came across the bodies of the fallen at the outpost. He threw up. After retching for a further five minutes, he dropped his load and ran to his town. The tale of the yeasty, half decomposed bodies spread fast.

Lycan received the news of the odd killings at his outpost with no fear in his eyes. Something was coming. He brooded long into the night about it. He almost missed the howls...

The way in which this game works differently is that everyone can attack.

So your orders should be akin to The Castle or Battle Royale, except using names instead of places. If you say "Attack Andres, but run if more than two people are there. If i see Andres alone, sneak up behind him and stab him, or if he sees me, stay out of his reach before throwing my dagger" will take you to andres, no matter where he is.

Anyway just to let you know, ill be rather busy this week (couple assignments, test studies... Learning entire thing we learnt in math last 8 weeks in just 2 days, fixing up my drama draft which was declared "completely and uttered failure") so dont expect me running around spamming around like always.

Purpose of starting in day phase is so that we let everybody feel like they participated in the game and gives them chance to talk at least. Gives the new comers some opportunity to learn how everything works and stuff... Ofcause.. Voting each other for the past games and jokes is always fun thing to do

Now other then all the possible joke votes I can do, from what I gathered soo far, Sarathos and Andres are the scummiest. Sarathos like always entered his usual ruitine of random vote, ranting and retaliation vote pretty early on. Although this seems normal for him, reason for voting Sarathos are the best out of all..(And if you vote because of what happened in the castle... Sarathos are the one who decided to go crazy on all the people he meets even though he was neutral so he could be blamed for towns defeat)

Andres decided to vote someone without reason to start with which is rather unusual for him. If my memory serves me correctly Andres always comes up with reasonably good reason or joke to vote for someone. However I can understand that :wall: thing he did..

So although that two are good choice to vote for, I rekon the chance of being mafia is still equal for everyone (except FH.. apologies) and every one is equally scummy
If there is no good option, may I ask you to lynch me seeing as I am getting less and less time to play around on the org (now I got another forum running and hosting a mafia game in that one.. plus I got work)

But if you can trust me. I am on townies side and I have reasonably good role (my favourite role)

I usually question my superiors, FactionHeir but it appears you haven't been promoted to a position of your incompetence yet.

I don't believe it would be Zain or Killfrenzy since they were both attacked but if Killfrenzy is trying to get Zain lynched by confusing us. Then off with his scummy head. If that is his tactic, then he or the mafia would eventually kill Zain anyway since he had to tell us what his role was to prove his innocence. Either way, the mafia probably accomplished their goal of flushing out some of the more important townies, anyway.

What did you mean pevergreen when you said you could find somewhere more easily defensible. I thought people were the locations and since in order to move you have to be near someone. Thats actually quite feesable. Killfr3nzy could of attacked Zain and then faked an attack on himself and then lied abotu seeing Zain. Cunning indeed and somehow we all fell for it......

I think Zain had a good point though, pevergreen was spelt with a capital in KF's 'pm', which it would not of happened if it was a screenshot. Killfr3nzy is claiming noobishness as the reason but I really think there is something more...

A shadowy figure waved his hands in complex patterns and a barrier focused around BSR.

A hairy body crashed against the barrier, two front legs braking. Seeing this, his friends ran off. The hairy one limped away. The pagan realised he was outnumbered and ran.

According to the now deleted pm posted by Beefy187, Omanes was "The Hairy One", the leader of the werewolves. His legs got broken.

On second thoughts, Omanes will probably be incapacitated for the next night. If we assume Sarathos is a werewolf priest, then he'll probably be able to heal Omanes.

Let's lynch Sarathos, this will prevent him from healing his leader (I hope, this all speculation off course).

Me and Caius were talking in the chat and decided that there is safety in numbers for the townies. We decided to work with Omanes(who I contacted shortly afterwords by PM) and attack BSR as a group unless he appeared innocent or we were outnumbered in which case we would run away(I personally have a good speed stat). Why Omanes and why BSR you ask:inquisitive: No real reason really. We just kind of chose those two. I guess we just had the bad(good?) luck of allying with a werewolf.

Beefy187 was tracking someone. But that person was also tracking someone. Who was tracking Beefy187. Increasing his speed, Beefy caught up with Craterus.
“Hold on a second, stay still” Beefy chanted and a barrier formed around Craterus.
“Right, lets go!” They get back on the trail of Waldinger.

On the way, they met a very slightly dressed person, Killfr3nzy. He joined them in the search of Waldinger. Each was after Waldinger for their own reason, but they didnt need to know why.

Beefy dimly remembered the events of last night, thinking he saw Waldinger’s face. That and the slightly deformed prints made Beefy realise something. He was screwed! He broke into a fast run just as Waldinger leaped at him. Craterus, with supernatural speed, turned round and smacked him in the head with a big ass club. A howl was the only sound of 2 wolves running away. At this point Beefy was still running singing “USB 1-2.0, Son you don’t know, watch my data flow!” Over and over. Killfr3nzy stood in horror.

Craterus handcuffed the unconscious Waldinger as the ground started to shake. The omni-present yeast form devoured them all. The yeast form moved on…

Zorg, Cimmerian and Twilightblade were sleeping as the yeast form absorbed them.

Beefy stopped for breath. The rumbling from his dreams was back! He knew his end was near, he had time for one last song! “Alo, iubirea mea, sunt eu, fericirea. Si sunt voinic, dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.”

The yeast form stopped for a moment. Surely one so well versed in the ways of singing could help him. Yet he was still hungry. Beefy sung his way into death.

Andres heard his name called out to be lynched. A few were happy, others didnt seem to care. One wasnt even there. As Andres came to the noose, Omanes realised he had something dripping down his leg. It was...yeast... Omanes pointed and yelled, the guards noticed and started to attack Andres. Andres transformed into a bird and flew away. As he crossed the battlements, a trainee crossbowman shot him. Andres was no more.

Kami sat on his bed, legs crossed, hands in lap, head bowed. There was a difficult task before him, and concentration would be required…

Omanes strode down the corridor by Caius’ side, mentally hoping that their prey would not put up much of a fight; his legs had been healed by Caius’ druidic magic, but it had left him weaker then before. The two hairy, muscled men scanned the area as they walked, already thinking of what they could do once they had control of Lycan’s Castle.
Suddenly he staggered, knees giving way, and he slammed his hand into the wall to keep himself from falling. His mind went momentarily blank…

Caius whirled, sigil-inscribed claws hissing out of his fingers as he went into a combat crouch. Seeing no-one, he stood upright and grabbed Omanes by the forearm, helping him to stand.
“Are you alright? What happened?”
Silence for a long moment as Omanes stared downwards with unfocused eyes, then he shook himself and shrugged off Caius’ hand.
“Nothing. I’m fine.”
Caius frowned slightly. Although in typical werewolf society weakness was soon followed by death, those on this mission had been allied for a long time, and were beyond such things. He pushed his worry away – they had more important things to deal with. He lead them a little further on, to the victim’s door.
Gathering his magic, he lifted one foot and kicked the door off it’s hinges. Seeing Kami seated on the bed and apparently defenceless, he lunged, claws outstretched and teeth bared. Sudden, shocking pain as the flesh on his back was ripped apart, Caius roared and turned to face….Omanes, who’s every movement seemed to be a struggle.
“Omanes? What are you – ” the rest was cut off Omanes attacked again. Assuming that he had reverted to his baser instincts, Caius saw no option but to eliminate him. Sidestepping and batting the blow away with one hand, Caius ripped out Omanes’ throat with the other, the sigils on his claws flashing green as he did so. Before he had even a moment to recover, something burst through his back and out of his chest, lifting his feet from the ground.
His body swung to face the bed, and the tan monstrosity crouched on it. The body was shaped like a great cat, only many times larger and with longer, more opposable fingers. There was also the obscenely long tail which ended, Caius saw as he looked down, in a hardened point.
“So it was you all along. We had wondered.”
Cats can’t grin, but the Pankaek did, and then it struck…

Kami finished reforming himself into human shape, then cracked his knuckles. Everyone else was dead, no-one remained to challenge him; Lycan’s castle was his. There was a sudden, thundering yet far-off cry –
NOOOOOOO, you bastard!
Kami cocked his head.
“Eh?”
Then Roadkill appeared out of nowhere, grabbed his sickle with both hands and thrust upwards, infused with the power of the Host. Kami’s breath left his body with a slight sigh, the two halves of him began to fall but collapsed into formless yeast before they hit the floor.
Roadkill nodded to himself with slightly bewildered satisfaction. They are at last…gone…

This game had some interesting moments. Night 2 and 3 consisted of people following people following people, in a great chain.

Ephrum was killed by the very people he tried to contact.
Ephrum was the bodyguard of Lycan but had a secret condition:

Major Victory: Assume Lycans position through his murder
Special: With confirmation from yourself and the opposing team, you may stand aside from guarding Lycan for a night, allowing him to be killed.

He was killed by Andres.

To those who are confused by Night 1: Andres took on the form of Zain, went into Zain's room and shot a fireball deliberatley missing Zain, but knocking him out, then went and attacked Killfr3nzy.

Ah well, I had some suspicions there was shape-changing, and of the pankaek, just was mistaken in thinking Andres was the 'kaek as well as the shape-shifter.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I killed five people night two, so this night I thought I'd overshadow Omanes, since he was the werewolf leader.

I am the hunchback of the castle. For many years, I was discraced, until taken in by Lycan to serve in his castle. I ring the bells at the top of the castle twice per day, once to inform the peasants that it is time to work the fields, and once to inform them that it is time to pay their tribute to Lycan. With considerable time between bell ringings, I have spent years exploring the castle, developing great knowledge of the hidden passages and corridors. Now that my master Lycan is in danger, I use my knowledge of the castle to sneak around and spy on people.

Last night, I investigated you, Andres, and recieved an innocent result, although it told me no more than that. I hope I can work with you to rid the castle of any who might threaten the great lord of the land.
I decided to take a gamble after night two and try contacting Andres. I thought it was a rather convincing reveal, no?

As you can probably see, the original idea was to attack pevergreen's group one by one to try and encourage them to suspect each other. The first night we failed to act, but, on the second night, we targeted Sarathos.

After converting Sarathos to our cause, which we succeeded in doing, we realised that there was a little bit more to our roles than simply wiping the town out. There were people out there who could join our team.

At this phase though, we were a little surprised. Beefy187 had revealed us all, making Sarathos an instant lynch. I was probably going to end up dead the following round, so I decided that when the day phase had begun, I would reveal myself and openly recruit in the thread.

We decided to kill Beefy187 since he knew who we were. In my opinion, this combined with his strength, made him our largest threat. We were successful.

Due to a large number of WoGs and deaths that night, including Waldinger's, I changed tactics, and quite simply decided that perhaps my reveal plan was now, with so few people left, not worth trying. With the help of Garci', I managed to survive into another night.

That phase we chose to kill kamikhaan - it was a fairly random choice, and very little thought went into it.

On the down side the all powerful Pankaek killed every last remaining player. This left us with only a minor victory.
