The other Dragonlance Mod

Hi guys,

I think it's better to open a new topic.

Last week I started my work on my mod, called "Dragonlance: Takhisis rising".
The map_regions is finished yet and now I try to make the other tgas, but it's not that easy I thought before.

Does somebody know, if the colour of the water could be changed, so that I can made the blood sea of Istar?

Adembroski, please would you show me your map and perhaps the other files that I could compare it with mine, to find the mistakes I probably made?

The Blood Sea of Istar... another reason I loath to do an Age of Dragons mod. I really don't think it can be done any justice. Thankfully, the Maelstrom has calmed in the Age of Mortals.

I have not completed a full-continent map, honestly. I've been working on the demo and provincial campaign maps... so I've got a map covering western Solamnia, a map covering the Blood Sea region, and a map covering the Neraka/Sanction/Jelek region, but all I have for the complete continent is a rough outline with only 1 province. I simply have not progressed to that point yet.

I just played around with the warter_surface.tga and turned it into red... and it worked perfectly!

No I can do a perfect blood sea of Istar!!! I will post some screens when it's done.

Well I hope I will get the map working. At the moment I'm writing the *.txt file but I'm not ready at all.

I just finished the stratmap flag for the solamnic castles and the solamnic surcoat for the stratmap general. When I found the stratmap flag for the general and the whole general is finished, then I will post a new pic.

What about your mod? Any news? How are the goblins, elevens a.s.o. doing? Do make them on your own? I don't know how to handle that yet. But first I will finish the map and then I will think about the next problems...
