Hail
I'm new here and not in very good terms with technology so pardon me for any mistakes
I think that if a spartan fled from the field of battled he was named "tresas" or "ripsaspis"(the latter if he trew away his shield) and was stripped off his political rights. He also was forced to shave the half of his beard and suffered many other humiliating penalties.
I don't know if it's possible, but maybe in EB II when a "spartiates" general flees from the field , he should be removed from the family tree or something. A suicide is also a good idea.
Keep up the good work.
UP THE HAMMERS
Blessed be
