What are the odds that CA will make ETW fully support widescreen? I for one will be mightily disappointed if we have to deal with a stretched low-res UI for another game.

Well then don't buy a wide screen monitor. For those of us who have it is a rather important issue, but it is of no relevance to the rest of you.

If i remember correctly, 10% of all PC users use widescreen monitors, so excluding such a large chunk of the population is rather insane.

That percentage will also increase a great deal as LCDs become standard. Widescreen already seems to be a default setting on almost all games, including the TW series. It's just the silly UI resolution in M2TW that doesn't support widescreen, not the game itself.
