Intro

The year is 1939. In the year 1934, the president of Germany, Paul von Hindenburg, died. One year before that happened, he named a person to lead the country he was leading in that moment.

That person is called Adolf Hitler. He went against the treaty of the Society of the Nations, and rearmed the Luftwaffe, or the German Air Forces. His country was ready to fight again.

The fight started. Taking Poland by surprise and signing with the Russians the Non-Agression Treaty, Germany started to fight.
They become allies of Italy and Japan.

Now, what will happen? Will Hitler dominate Europe?

Join teh war!

Hitler already dominate Germany :dizzy2: And the non-agression pact was signed 1 month before the war began, and they were allies with Italy for years I think :book: (Just had a test on WW2 last week)

I'll take the Germany undominated by Hitler then :laugh4:

You attention please.

I need a list of:

Tanks
Airplanes
Soldiers
Ships

All teh factions must come up with something. Not only the names, I need numbers too.
I will post the map, and you will tell me where do you want to put the soldiers/tanks/airplanes/ships.

Now, how will I calculate loses?

Simple. There is a multiplier. Every soldier/tank/plane/ship will have a

Things that increase the multiplier:
High quantity of soldiers/tanks/airplanes/ships
High quality of soldiers/tanks/airplanes/ships
Day Battles
Skilled Commanders
Use of Scouts for Artillery
Ambush
Things that decrease the number
Low quantity and quality of soldiers/tanks/airplanes/ships
Night Battles
Being ambushed
Not Good Commanders
Blind Artillery (Artillery that shoots without any kind of guide)

Comments?

Is this just going to be Western Europe? I would very much like to see the Winter War, Continuation War, and the Lapland War, three important parts of the War in Europe that are always overlooked.

Those numbers are just for the French ships in the Atlantic and English Channel. The majority of the French navy was stationed in Mediterranean and thus the French fleet is in fact considerably larger.

Battleships: 6 old WWI dreadnoughts plus two Dunkerque-class fast battleships. Additionally two new battleships are currently under construction.

Carriers: 1

I can't be bothered to find out the numbers for the smaller ships, but atleast now you know that the French navy is considerably larger than the numbers presented earlier.
