Many of us have to accept the fact that the original Shogun: Total War just isn't playable for us. The newer generation nvidia cards all seem to throw fits when it comes time to fight a battle, and for some people, cause nothing but headaches and frustrations. Various work arounds and fixes have cropped up over the years, and now another to try looks particularly promising.
