Now the real interesting part comes from the internet detectives at reddit. How does a restaurant that serves piss poor food and long waiting times survive? Also of note is the owner taking away all tips from the servers and he doesn't even let the server handle the POS system. People have claimed that the store might be a cover for a money laundering operation where the dude is funneling money through the restaurant and his crazy trophy wife is ignorant of it all. Why would he agree to be on the show? Well the wife is crazy and seems to get what she wants. On a scale of 0 to 5, I have to cheat and rank it the largest negative value I can imagine.
Where to begin? Oh yes, Russell Crowe of course! What were they thinking casting that moron in a singing role? Sure, he is a passable enough actor in movies such as Gladiator, but a singer? Let's just say his last name very accurately describes the sounds that came out of his mouth during his attempts at singing.
Speaking of lines, WTF?! It is as if 5th grader with a rhyming dictionary (and a love of socialism) wrote the songs. The music was completely uninspired, and in an attempt to be artistic, the choice was made to have everyone sing over everyone else so that you couldn't understand anyone.
But the substance was not half as bad as the style. Moments that should have been delivered with heart and passion were boringly mumbled!
The make-up artist and set-designer though committed the greatest crimes of all. The movie ended up looking like a cheap circus act filmed and enhanced with cheap CGI.
The only two people who could sing half-way decently were the adorable 10 year old girl, Isabelle Allen and the smoking hot Samantha Barks. Both gave very solid performances.
Still though, the two highlights of the film were not enough to provide it with saving grace. Nothing can be said about this film that is too low. There was nothing wrong with the relationship itself she just wanted to make "stupid mistakes" with other men and focus on her career. After talking with my friends here and in RL and my family I think I can look forward to a day where I don't weep for 20 minutes. I understand that I am still young and that I should also go out and meet more people and experience new things. I am trying not to hold a grudge against her but it is difficult when sex is involved. The pain of losing my best friend in the world just feels so debilitating right now that I just want to feel normal so I can begin the process of moving on.

I have been an utter mess. I have been feeling sick since it happened on Sunday. I have not been eating (I had two bagels today and that's it) because my stomach is in constant pain and knots. I ask for advice on how I can calm down and just be rid of the pain or at least dull it down.

Also I know that I have been reluctant to improve myself because I have felt comfortable having a loving gf all this time. I want to be a better person (not for others but for myself) and I have chosen to focus on going to the gym (which I have never done) and trying harder at Starcraft (my other long term love). Now, the way we do it is that there are two grills, a large one and a smaller one. the larger one is in the back, which is where they make the burgers and chicken. Then they wheel it out to a big steamer behind the counter of the station, where there is also a smaller grill. The burgers and chicken, after being cooked, go into the steamer where they sit until we, the employees who are actually dealing with the customers, take them out and put them on the grill, then assort them with things like cheese, onions, bacon, and stuff like that.

Anyhow, the steamer is extremely hot. Many employees burn themselves on it, either from coming into contact with the hot metal sides, or the steam/steamed water that drips.

Tonight was one of those nights. I had injured my Achilles tendon earlier, which was then swollen, so I was already pretty doped up on painkillers. And you guessed it, I got burned pretty badly. I was working alone during that time tonight so as I was running my hand under cold water the line was getting longer, and nobody was coming to help me. So I put on a fresh pair of gloves and went back to work. The next people in line was this girl who just could not make up her mind what she wanted. She had all of five minutes as I was trying to relieve my hand of the burning to make up her mind! So I was waiting there, getting more and more agitated. Then she said it. She said "give me another minute, Im still thinking what I want.'

I just lost it, teller her that if she couldnt make up her goddamned mind she should go to the back of the line because she was holding everyone up. I never yelled at her per say, but a coworker who was across the room watching this unfold said that my expression was one of pure hate and disgust.

She finally made up her mind, and I made her the thing she wanted, I dont even remember what she wanted, and of course, she went and complained to my supervisor. Thankfully the supervisor is a good friend of mine, found out why I was so agitated, and decided not to pass the complaint up to my managers.

But I gotta say, losing it at that girl felt really, really good, I would do it again.
