Battles of Kingdoms is mod on the Medieval Era, with very high graphics practically as M2:TW. It forces the engine to its limits. You will be able to play one of the numerous factions in lots of battlefields re-textured. All the units are well modeled and textured, and are totally historic and realistic.

AoD2 - a mod based on RTW/BI - starts in 527 AD - the year when Justinian became emperor. Rome has fallen years ago. However, the Roman empire in the east is well prepared, its economy still strong, the army powerful. Is it possible that "New Rome" will rise again to power - or does the upcoming war end into the decline.

Strategos total War is a mod for Barbarian Invasion that takes place between 550 BCE and 330 BCE and is focused on the Greek World. The map includes Italy, Greece, Asia Minor, egypt, Cyrenacia and Libya, Dacia, and southern scythia and the Bosphoros.

This mod aims to give the Greek factions the same sort of depth that the Roman factions have in vanilla RTW. It adds many new units to the Greek factions, new character traits, changes the way that some buildings work, and much more. I have tried to stay close to the "look and feel" of vanilla total war, so this mod should appeal to people who like vanilla RTW but who want to play a more developed version of the Greek factions.
