What I mean is in Barbarian Invasion, when playing as a barbaric faction, you have the chance of creating a general directly from the recruitment panel. Some may take 4 turns while others, 3 and so on. Is this really a good idea?

Can someone please explain why my Garrison slowly dies while waiting for the enemy army to lay siege to my city? It doesen't make any sense to me, if my city has food stocks and defenses (that the enemy cannot breach) how are my troops dieing ... maybe of boredom. :dizzy2:

In Rome Total War, are there certain conditions that have to be met to bribe an army, general, or city? If there are, I'm trying to find out what is required for the "Bribe" option to show up in diplomacy, and also if there is a way to know how much bribery will cost.
