Currently we need about about anything: coders, scripters, researchers, beta testers,... You name it we can use it. If you are not sure you can help us, e-mail me anyway.

Re: Assembling a new team.
Though I can't dedicate myself to the team, if you ever need help on a specific thing, don't hesitate to PM me.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
Thanks Myrddraal! If we have specific things we can't figure out ourselves we'll contact you!

Re: Assembling a new team.
I cant code and most mapping programs have 'issues' with me, but I would be happy to help write out descriptions for you. Ive noticed none of the buildings have descriptions and such, and a few of the unit descriptions are rather short.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
Like I offered yesterday in my PM, I'm willing to help out with descriptions as well. Maybe Sheogorath and myself can co-operate on this. We can probably split things by factions. There's a lot of work to be done, since a lot of the existing descriptions are just copy and paste from vanilla. For example, some of the Krishnapur buildings mention Parthia (the palace, for one). Since I love Buddhism/kung fu/eastern military stuff, I'd like to do China and the Monks. I'm also familiar with the culture and military of the steppe nomads, less so with India, Korea, Japan and of course, the demons.

Re: Assembling a new team.
Okay you two thanks I'll pm you guys the names of files which have the descriptions and some thing that aren't in game yet but hopefuly will make it later. If you have msn it might be nice if you could add me, then we could discuss it.

Re: Assembling a new team.
No, I haven't got it. Can I e-mail you? (if you want to give but not in public just pm it to me).

Re: Assembling a new team.
Hehe, Pie.

Re: Assembling a new team.
Well descriptions are bit low priority atm but I'll send you a pm and try to talk with you longer and better, if my internet will permit me to do this any soon. (I hate belgacom.)

Re: Assembling a new team.
I don't really know anything about the inner workings of the game. But if you guys need it I can try and help with beta testing. I'm already making a mental list of the things wrong anyway, even if it isn't necessary, heh.
BTW, this is an incredible mod. Kudos to all the hard work you guys put into this :2thumbsup:

Re: Assembling a new team.
I'd love to help with any beta testing you guys need doing - didn't get selected last time round - would like to do my part.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
sorry for my late respons.
Anyway, at the moment we don't really need beta testers. Coders who can help us with bug fixing on the other hand.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
I can also help with descriptions if necessary, just send me a PM. I was working on them for Middle Earth: Total War too, although that team sort of fell out of contact with me and hasn't gotten back to me in a long while. I hope you guys can get all the kinks worked out - the campaign is absolutely beautiful and would be awesome with just a few tweaks.
Best of luck fellas.:beam:

Re: Assembling a new team.
I'm thinking of buying RTW just for this mod. I have books on Far Eastern history, and I'm willing to help on the cultural and military info. Because I don't have RTW yet, I have no idea how the game works. I'm willing to help save you time if you can give me an idea on what files need to be modded, and what programs you used to edit them.
By the way, do you have any plans to have a mod for this on MTW2?
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
Great wish there, Shaka Khan. I think we'd really need hoggy back in if BL's M2TW version would be planned though.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
I can definitely help out with concepts for the koreans again.

Re: Assembling a new team.
Man, I just discovered this mod and it's really awsome. I wish I had better computer skills so I could help. If you're serious about finding new team members, you should try to get your mod hosted at twcenter.net. There is a lot of modding talent over there, and you're bound to find help when you already have such high quality work done.

Re: Assembling a new team.
Thanks for the advise. Anyway the only thing we need at the moment are people who can work with the txt's. If we can get that done, the rest will come along nicely.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
I'm happy to attempt to work on some of the Demon texts, I'll post what I have for a few descriptions later. Considering the relative obscurity of the subject matter, it may be fairly vague.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
Which text files specifically?
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
descr_strat is the one we're having most problems with actually.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
I could help out. Im the lead artist behind Inca Total War and helping out in Narnia Total War.
Edit; 2d Artist.
-
Re: Assembling a new team.
Thanks, at them moment we don't really need 2D art but when we do I can contact you?

Re: Assembling a new team.
Can you do Ancillaries? Cause we will need those in the future. But at the moment we have to many bugs and stuff to fix. It's not that I don't want you or something. It's just the bugs are to numerous for anything else to work on. (Quite underpowered).
Anyway when we get most bugs out I'll, pm you. The same for all others who posted here, really.

Re: Assembling a new team.
