I have noticed while playing Rome that religion has been replaced with social type, which is really interesting considering how administrative buildings depend on it. However, how do you increase it? I can't find any buildings that influence it. Is there a guide to these sort of things?
It is influenced by the culture of the faction that owns it and yes in certain cases buildings can influence it even more.
Ok I suspected as much. Does a governor affect the culture in a province as well? And which type of buildings affect culture? Religious? I can't find any explicit culture buildings or is it a hidden effects? Thanks for answering, this game is many times more complex than any total war before :)
Some factions can build colonies, which will influence the culture over time.
