Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
I dunnow. Although I would consider it if I get to tease him on how old he looks despite his age and how thin he is. Until you try to cook and eat me. At which point I will distract you with...female liches... With yellow fluffy dress. Or something.

Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
This looks interesting, I'll join in.
Don't hesitate to start without me if everyone else is ready though, TheLastDays. I'll catch up.

Welcome to the party, Chaotix!
Thanks for the compliments, guys. There's several interesting characters in this game and I'm eagerly looking forward to see how all this works out.
Seon, I tried to find an accurate picture for your character (in her natural state, that is) and didn't have any better luck. The only art of horned females with green hair I found were either frontally nude or satyrs (or both). Also, doing a Google image search for "horned lady" produces somewhat disturbing results. Apparently there are at least two real women in the world who do, in fact, have a horn protruding from their head.

Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
FYI, I changed my characters location from "somewhere" to "somewhere in ayal royad hyo"

Thanks! I actually found your character pretty interesting and implemented his race in the history of my character's race.
Nothing like a little game-world continuity!

"Chaotic Good".....
Way to rub in the chaotic part after ATPG's game.....
Chaotix.

Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Yeah, I thought that was rather cool of you to connect the two races and add to the game's lore. :) I like Frijyk's background and barely pronounceable name, as well.

I found something akin to what I was looking for. Posted it at the bottom of the charsheet...
By the way, it seems that we are neatly divided into two "parties" at this moment. The Southern Wilderness (around Leon) people and the Capital crowd. One is filled with cynical cold-blooded mercenaries, assassins, and nobles and the other is filled with mostly good at heart folks with communication disorders. Exceptonee of them who doesn't even have a heart har har.

Does it seem hard to pronounce? I'll clarify it in the post, it's basically phonetic: FRI-jik
Think "frigid" with a k. :laugh4:

Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
And I thought it was pronounced fry-jik

Oh, have a hearty laugh......
I'm sure it will end well!

Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Can I create an NPC companion like Greyblades did?
Also, B Ray I love your race, freaking awesome.
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
B Ray, your character's race is awesome.
But, is it resistant to magic?
Dwarves and trolls are (except for fire with trolls), and I've seen your race compared to both.
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
I think these comparisons are only done by us incompetent readers of his profile ;) - He never said they were relatives to the dwarves or trolls.
I esp. love the part about their government and offices ^^
And yea having that many players it's not bad to have them in two parties for now buit we'll see how it ends up.
And, welcome Chatoix!
I'll start at 12:00 CET today and from then on the game thread will be open for posts, for all those that have their char finished ;)
@Psycho: Sure you can create an NPC like Greyblades. go ahead :D

Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Too many elvey type characters. My guy has a hatred of them. And Nobles. :P
He'd be more willing to help the Lich than the fey, fay, elvey people.

Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Well he's gonna have to adapt... or not.. that's the fun of it ;)
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
There shall most likely be no adaption. I like an evil side. ;)
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Working on the opening now, stay tuned... ;)
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
It has begun... you can now start posting whenever you want in the story thread... esp. if those in Lassara could react that would be great ;)
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Right, I assume I am stuck the throne room with the other nobles?
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
If you're a noble, then I expect you would be.

Right, now these demon things; are they weak or strong on thier own and are they the sort to only be affected by silver?
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Hmm. I suggest trying to kill one. I'll just rescue the potato and get out of the city.
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Considering I will be the one writing it I dont think that will help.
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
Make it a struggle and you can die a hero's death. :P
I would say they are strong.
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
I would assume that there would be many types of flying demon, some mere gremlins and some who is mostly blue, flies at speed faster than sound, shoots lasers from their eyes, is super strong, and whose only weakness is a weapon forged from a certain element in the demon realm.

Yeah but are they the sort to be blade proof? Do I need cold iron weapons to kill these things, or silver? Would it be worth trying to nab that holy sword the princess dropped when the counciler ran in?
-
Re: Lassara - Shards of Neril - OOC and Signup Thread [Sign-ups]
They are pretty strong but they are killable with normal weapons. The problem is, they come in huge masses... also most nobles are currently being rushed out of the throne room, the royal guard is asking their escorts to stay and fight... it's your own choice if you wanna stay there and fight or run... You might witness something interesting though if you stay...
