Tellos Athenaios: Europa Barbarorum II's unsung hero
Hi all! Hope everyone is keeping well!
A few months ago I dedicated a thread to the great moderator Ludens, thanking him for his work and efforts before he moved on.
Today I kindly ask you to show your appreciation for someone who I feel is wholly deserving of praise and yet never receives enough of it: Tellos Athenaios.
Whenever a new faction preview emerges we all seem to heap praise on the model makers, skinners and researchers. Very rarely do we seem to take note of the technological wizard behind the magic: Tellos. Without his efforts EBII would be no more than some pretty units and interesting facts.
So from myself at least, here is a big tankard of Belgic ale and an even bigger thank you for your great work! Cheers, please keep it up!

Here here! Cheers to you TA ~
Also, I'd like to extend further thanks to the forum in general, we are very luck to have the .org. Recently I've been posting and reading in on another forum *shudder* and the sustained and constant abuse to people who discuss their own opinions and beliefs is nothing short of disgraceful *cough BSN cough*. I'd like to thank all participants and moderators of this forum for continuing to make this a safe and mature place to discuss all things EB. Although we may differ in opinions at times, what sets us apart is the ability to discuss them in a controlled and respectful manner. Let's strive to keep it that way, keep up the good work everyone!

Re: Tellos Athenaios: Europa Barbarorum II's unsung hero
Thank you Tellos and all the team!
The graphics are the first to captivate, but EB's vital lymph comes from the traits and the scripts and everything that holds it together ^^
That's what made everyone play for so many years and keep playing today!

Tellos is an unsung hero, I agree completely with this.

Moros isn't our Cthulhu, he's like Salomon. Except he won't split the [insert whatever salomon split in two here] in two, he'll make the two agitators fight to the death in an arena for our entertainment.
To you, Moros the Morini! *lifts cup of a Bellovaci Skull*

Re: Tellos Athenaios: Europa Barbarorum II's unsung hero
I've always been under the impression that TA is an extremely intelligent person, we're lucky he's on the team and I think a lot of EB II's greatness will be because of his hard work :D

He wanted to split up the baby, to give to two women both claiming it was their child. The mother said, no then she rather would have the other woman have the entire child. Which was the reaction Solomon was waiting for, knowing it'd be the real mother. But lets not derail the thread any further.

Re: Tellos Athenaios: Europa Barbarorum II's unsung hero
All hail TA .
Satyros
P.S.: No one is unsung , as far as I am concerned . We are thankful forever .

It's kind of weird how that story worked out, you'd think that even if she didn't really care, the other woman wouldn't want to see any baby split in two...

Re: Tellos Athenaios: Europa Barbarorum II's unsung hero
you memmon are blessed with the ignorance of how fiercely competitive women can be (or as casanova said if you want to score with a pretty girl just hit on her best friend and hint at the pretty one she isn´t pretty enough )

Lack of confidence can be the most important element sometimes. =)
