thats silly, or better sloppy programmed then
Mike i can save all my battles in NTW no problem and dont have to rename them, theres an option when the battle finishes to do this.
koc u hijacking this thread? ;)
At the end of the battle you have the option screen to Leave and/or Save Replay ( the little camera icon bottom right hand corner)Quote:

You can and have to rename it, since it get overwritten after each battle.
Click on the icon and a list comes up for you to name the battle and then click Save at the bottom.
If you want to rename the battle at a later date you will find the file option by going to
C:\Admin|AppData\Roaming\TheCreativeAssembly\Napoleon\replays
just remember to keep the .replay ext on the end.
Your replay will then show in the list of replays in the Battle List, if you click on the Replays option.
Hope this will be of help for you.
the thread is definitivly hijacked....:o)
Yes hijacked by Kage and kicked to Napoleon: Total War multi forum.~;)

A place that can be used to share NTW replays: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/local....php?catid=203
There's an add entry button at the left in the top bar. A picture would help to show this, as the text is pretty small.
ah, i found it, thx!
Thats what i get as info. I tryed to upload *.replay and also renamed it to *.rep. Both times i got this error message.Quote:
Upload error - uploads of filetype «rep» are not permitted
How can we upload them to Youtube?
Does NTW have a movie_cam like RTW or a cinematic editor like M2TW? If so, use that in combination with Fraps to create cinematic videos which you can edit and post-produce and upload to YouTube. Or you could just load replay and record with Fraps and even add some voice overs with microphone, edit, post produce, and upload to YouTube. I enjoy cinematics but that's too fancy if all you want to do is share a replay.
