I see you do not list the hitpoints correctly for special units like elephants and chariots. These have their "secondary" hitpoints added in battle too.
(Other units also have secondary hitpoints, but these are only counted for autoresolve. Similarly, autoresolve is different for elephants and chariots, where each rider gets as many hitpoints as the beast including riders in played-out battle).
First of all, I want to say that this unit list is an excellent idea :2thumbsup:
Cidainh have their HP listed correctly, but Scythed Chariots and Elephants haven't.
What other units would these be? :inquisitive:Quote:

Some cavalry types, I think; IIRC there was some HP trickery to make Horse Archers perform better in auto resolve (they used to get indiscriminately slaughtered in auto resolve, making especially the life of AI nomads that bit more painful).
The link seems to be broken
The online-only link works just fine for me? :inquisitive:
The link seems to be broken
Edit: False. Sorry
Update of the online version:
- has now a filter selection for factions
- applied filter are now shown directly
- "Reset" resets all filter

That would be all of them. All infantry, as well as cavalry which are primarily melee units, get 1 extra secondary hitpoint. Ranged cavalry get 2 extra secondary hitpoints. This ensures that ranged cavalry are counted more like an actual battle would play out when autoresolving, giving the steppe factions their well-deserved teeth. Before this change, horse archers were deadly in played out battle (and they still are) but were completely massacred by common infantry like pantodapoi, as if they had charged into their lines. We first tried to only give the ranged cavalry 1 extra hitpoint and nothing for the infantry, but they were then outrageously overpowered. I think we have a good balance now.
It has a secondary effect of reducing the immense advantage the special units have in autoresolve, where chariots and elephants literally have several times their usual resilience. This is still not very close to the usual outcome of a played out battle.
Is there some easy way to print all this :)
Your web browser of choice should let you print.
Really nice work! Thanks
Awesome list. Can't wait to compare!
The download link still is broken - the page does not exist...
Someone should reupload this. The current one gives you a video of a dude swallowing... :skull:
Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Unless it is my own browser, the upload url is a link called Marcel-böse Tabletten.zip... of a young man?
Thankyou for the online version, any chance of it being able to be downloaded once more?
Many thanks,
SV
Yea the online one works, but I mean a downloadable version.
Well, this is the best I can do. Hopefully it will work for you lads.
Link.
You will need WinRAR to extract the folder (right-click and select "Extract to EB 1.2 Units Documentation 1.2/"). Inside the folder you will see "unitList", which is a Firefox document. If you use IE, right click and point to "Open With" and you should see IE listed. Once you have the webpage opened, you can easily bookmark it for quick viewing later. In order to the list to function correctly, you will need to allow scripts/ActiveX controls to run. If your browser automatically prevents this, a popup should appear. You should be given the option to allow the blocked content.
Unfortunately, you need your internet connection to be running to view the list. If you rename the folder and you also bookmarked the list webpage, you will need to go to the folder, click again on "unitList", and re-bookmark the webpage.
Is the online list still being updated? Cohors Evocata gives me a fatal error.
A fantastic site, to be sure.
Would be cool if you could implement the native/regional option.
Good day fellow EB-Fans!
Sorry for the necromancy.
Due to the thread about the importance of elephants, I checked out the eles in the unit list and found 2 different kinds of forest eles in it.
You have the Elephantes Hulaioi Liboukoi, who have the same model as african bush eles and you got the smaller Pilei Ya'ar Libim. Those 2 have also different stats.
Is this a bug or are there actualy 2 units of forest eles?
Thank you.
Those are two different (sub-)species of elephants AFAIK one used by Carthage and another by the Ptolemies.
1) Does anybody need the offline version of the site that has real-time search filtering or whatever it's called? Because I have it.
2) There's at least one error on the site and I wouldn't call it absolutely horrible but it's a bit worrisome because I use the site (though am not dependent on it) for work on the wiki.

This guy ain't called Ktistai, he is actually supposed to be called Trabostates or something like that (sorry, I don't have EB running so I can't/won't check). In any case, the stats are probably right, that's not a problem. It's just a title thing, author accidentally titled it wrong, so just wanted to let y'all know in case you can't find Trabostates on the site...
You should link the offline version.

You'll need 7-zip to unpack the documentation. It is freeware and is available here: http://www.7-zip.org/
On a related note, does anyone have a link to all the EB Factional Unit cards that one member made? I have most of them but I want to be sure.
