No. The opposite if anything - typically a villager will put more effort into solving the game than a wolf who is merely giving the appearance of doing so.

Re: Swords and Sorcery Mafia Without the Swords [In Play]
It also depends heavily on the individual player's personality, obviously, but what i said holds as a general rule. Unless it's a surgical thing for that player (which it definitely isn't for renata), calling someone scum for putting in effort is silly.

Re: Swords and Sorcery Mafia Without the Swords [In Play]
Specific thing for that player. Lol phone.

Re: Small Mafia Game: Swords and Sorcery Mafia Without the Swords
As a sidenote, I'm going to say there's a 100% chance at least one wolf took the lynchproof spell. And i expect gh to cry when it inevitably happens.

* searching brain for any wolfy mechanics talk to discuss *

Note to self: Zack is lynchproof.

Hi Renata.
What's your approach to reading me going to look like this game? I don't think you ever town-read me in the only scum game you've seen of me so far, but elsewhere you've indicated you're not sure how anyone reads me. No need to worry about me using your answer to help me fool you, because if I'm a wolf I'll just kill you tonight anyways.

I think I'm going to go with tinfoiling you in direct proportion to how towny you appear to me. I had you as potential scum that entire game, then right at the end before you conceded you laid out an attack on one of the other players that was very good and had me thinking you were town. So now I know you have a convincing scum game in you.

Wasn't talking about effort into solving the game, was talking about effort in general. On average I undeniable put more effort into games I'm scum, and work harder to get out of a possible lynch then I do when town. I don't understand your point.

Maybe because you keep applying your own personal traits and generalizing it to everyone must be the same as you.

We have, it's been maybe 4 years though.

Don't know what being a mind reader has to do with anything. You can notice trends without reading minds lol.

Agree. Though I remember the org games being quite mean to effort players. Sort of like, acting above it all is somehow more village like. Let me know if the meta's changed.

I forget my manners. GeneralHankerchief, Montmorency, Lewwyn and Dp101, don't think I've ever played with you lot. Hello!

I'm the mod here and I'll be honest, I have no idea what our meta is at the moment. :laugh4: Mostly because our games have had a lot more cross-pollination from other forums lately and the bulk of our players aren't "homegrown" anymore.
Also, welcome Snerk and Arakhor, and welcome back Lewwyn! ~
(somebody who's not Snerk/Lewwyn, do these two usually spend this much time at the start of the game talking about general approach/meta?)

Re: Swords and Sorcery Mafia Without the Swords [In Play]
Reason I ask is because it's not something I remember him doing in any of the games I've played with him so far, either alignment.
-
Re: Swords and Sorcery Mafia Without the Swords [In Play]
As either alignment, fwiw. I don't think it's really anything to be concerned about for Snerk or Lewwyn either.
