whats with this logon trouble?

yesterday i got on fine, today i get a million "cant logon" messages or "connection lost" when i was never connected. i turned my ca firewall off and still nothing.

got on once about an hour ago, but lost connection while alt tabbed to the org cuz the lobby was dead

is the lobby this unstable? i havnt played this game online since like before kingdoms came out...but i dont remember it being this awful.

by the way is the lobby always this dead? its 8:00 pm east coast time... jeez.

i almost miss being on third shift so i could play with all the euros in the morning

I was getting the same problems last night. Must be a GameSpy connection problem.

well its been like 3 days of this, i havnt seen this since shogun, at least mtw and rome you could log on before everything went to pot

it wasnt like this in the lil time i played mtw2 a while back, it can take me 1.5 hours sometimes of just looking at the hourglass of woe bewfore it suffers me to enter

no wonder the lobby is dead every night i'v been on

sucks too, cuz the game is still pretty fun when u can get a match going, even though i am pretty awful in my 3 days back

Yep, its a real dilemma, the game is basically great but all the mp problems hinder us from enjoying it.

And hinder people from staying on to populate the server. So even if you do get on you have to wait 30 minutes for a game >_<

been trying all day, 6 hours to get on and play a game. they should be ashamed of themselves.

at least among all the hyperbole in them selling you on "empire" the multiplayer is the very last thing mentioned

does anyone know or have the right contact info for MP issues? i assume it's gamespy? this is the third consecutive sunday my buddies and i have tried to play and failed due to the 'connection lost', 'failed to logon' thingy.

Well you would think the sudden change in the server issue would be Gamespy, but you would also think CA would ask them whats the problem. Strange isn't it.

Then why do you play Samurai Wars? I don't believe that anyone who plays Samurai Wars is settling for less since the tactical depth of the MTW battle engine is superior to that of the M2TW battle engine. Also, Retrofit doesn't overcome the limitation that you cannot change the relative speeds of the individual units which is important to dynamic playbalance.

You can change the speed of individual units in Kingdoms, and by extension Retrofit as it uses Kingdoms.exe
