Someone should put these into a single pack tbh.

This is nothing to do with modding. It is to do with spending time maintaining the pack as new fixes are made.

well if you download and un-zip al the fixes in the same folder (say EB fixes pack) and then zip that folder.... that should be it isn't it?

Yes. Until a new fix comes along, when you'll have to do maintain it in X versions for the various optional ones.

Optionals are... optional so they should stay as individual files , but the permanent could be all in the same download here

i have one question
Does this fixes are for eb 1.0 or to eb 1.1
I asking because they are the same for eb 1.0

Fixes in this thread are for 1.1, if you're looking for 1.0 fixes see the thread 1.0 fixes below:

Hi, I'm a longtime lurker newbie poster.
Anyway, I've got version 1.1 and everytime I activate the campaign script the waiting for the turn end takes ages. Is that normal? It might not be since I have Vista, and even though I made sure I didn't install in program files it could validate the install. Other than that it's been working great.

yep normal... the basic original script is very heavy... so it will take way longer than vanilla rtw
you can download the optional fixes , they reduce drastically the wait between turns

I tried searching for some but couldn't find any. Could you link one?
Thanks

Thanks,
It didn't mention anything about the end turn time so I didn't want to download anything that might screw up the game.

Then again, the optional fixes are unsupported and in some cases untested. Yes, they may cause problems for some.

Hi I play Rome in EB and have had nearly 140 turns, now the game crashes all the time. I can't go further in the game. If I go a couple of turns back on my saved files and reach to turn 140 then the game crash again.
Will the 1.1 fix help ? should I download it ?
Will it help? Possibly, but unlikely as it's most likely a reform marker spam problem. Download the fixes regardless, as they'll make your game more stable; even if you can't get past this problem your next campaign will be better off.

Question: Still learning about trivial script, I would have to unpack these files into the single player edu back up so these won't get overwritten, correct?

The files under SP backup and MP backup will overwrite the ones in the main structure each time you run the game. Make your modifications in the SP backup folder.

just need to do this:
this is the first thread i found, so i just post it here :) sorry if it is wrongYou are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 1 posts or more.
Just a thought -- how about adding the missing sprites to the main EB v1.1 zipfile? Seems like a lot of people are coming on here posting about their CTDs when it's simply because they did not install (or were not aware of) this fix.
Plus, I know my way around a computer, and still managed to install the fix in the wrong directory, prolonging my misery.
Might reduce some of the noise. Just a thought.
It's not a zipfile. It's an installer. Creating it takes about a day, distributing it and getting seeders takes another couple (and with this tiny change, noone would get it and seed probably). People would have different versions both called 1.1. It would create a lot more noise.

I can't really understand much of these fixes since i'm relatively new to EB. So i must ask do i have to restart my campaign?? also can someone kindly tell me wich fixes i should download? i play 1.1 version of EB.

You need to install all the permanent fixes. The fixes that use the green font will work with your current campaign, the fixes with the blue font may work with your current campaign, the fixes with the red font will not work with your current campaign. It would be best to restart your current campaign unless you are very far into it, in which case you can continue at your own risk.
Temporary fixes are just that, temporary and should be used only to get around certain problems (which are detailed in the description for them). Optional fixes are if you wish to change or delete the client ruler portion of the script which in EB1.1 can cause a lot of CTDs. Once again they are colour-coded following the above green/red/blue scheme.

Fair enough i'l restart my campaign then,. all i need to do is install the 4 permanent fixes right?
Also what you said about the optional fix regarding the client ruler portion that causes a lot of CTD would it be best if i also installed it?
My thanks!
EDIT: eh the download links lead me to a page with no download link i have to click the "up to higher level directory" link which leads me to a bunch of file. which of them should i be downloading?

The optional fix for the client rulers is reported to cause crashes, not the original client rulers. However, it works a lot faster than the original version.
