Double posting is when a user posts twice without somebody posting inbetween. This is retentive and pretty much useless as there is an edit function.i might sound like an idiot for asking but whats double posting
Actually, this is something that I still have to edit, but historically the Bosphorean Kingdom had no special relations with the Spartans and did not employ Spartan hoplites.but now to the real question with boshoris sorry bout spelling if you take sparte will u get spartans cause i just love them but i didnt read the whole thread so dont know if its been asked

First post updated!
Pergamon 0.71 for EB1.2!
This space intentionally left blank.
What does 0.71 mean?
Italians do it better! Chi dice donna dice guai. Abbi donna di te minore, se vuoi essere signore. Donne e buoi dei paesi tuoi. Fiume, grondaia e donna parlatora mandano l'uomo di casa fuora.
And my personal favorite: "Non rimuovere il confine antico fissato dai tuoi padri". In english: "Do not remove the anchent border placed by your fathers". It looses something in the translation......
That it's version 0.71. I'm not really done yet, there'll be more updates in the future.

Hello Hax,
thanks a lot for your effort.
Tested Pergamon 0.71 for 2 turns, seems to work without problems.
There are only 2 minor things to mention:
(1) In the faction selection screen I still get the Epeiros symbol.
(2) The Faction leader isn't mentioned as 'FL' in campaign screen - it's unit card says 'Somato... Strategou'. The family tree is correct. :)
Anyway, I appreciate this faction swap very much.
Maybe I'm finally starting a greek faction (although I'm not a big fan of greeks ).
Finished EB Campaigns: Kart-Hadast 1.0/1.2 | Pontos 1.1 | Arche Seleukeia 1.2 | Hayasdan 1.2 | Sab'yn 1.2 | Makedonia 1.2 (Alex)
Lost Campaigns (1.2, Alex. exe): Getai | Sab'Yn
Ongoing campaigns (1.2): SPQR (110 BC) | Sab'yn (217 BC) | Pontos (215 BC)
from Populus Romanus
"The state of human ethics can be summarized in two sentences: We ought to. But we don't." (Tucholsky)
1) I haven't come to that yet, especially since my graphic skills (or lack thereof) are poor(1) In the faction selection screen I still get the Epeiros symbol.
(2) The Faction leader isn't mentioned as 'FL' in campaign screen - it's unit card says 'Somato... Strategou'. The family tree is correct. :)
2) I changed Epiros' bodyguard to Somatophylakes Strategou. However, when you select him on the campaign it should say "Pergamian Faction Leader". Can you take a screenshot of what you see?

Ahem... Hax, forget what I said.
Can't confirm point 2.
The Faction Leader is displayed and named correctly in the campaign.

Hehe, no problem.
Is everything else working okay?

Not really, but I assume thats due to the other mods that were installed and not due to Pergamon. (Had installed EB for BI, EB minimod pack, force diplomacy etc).
Will uninstall and retry as soon as I have more time. (Have the honour and pleasure to be in betatestteam for PI for M2TW so I can't play EB all the time.)

Hi Hax,
thanks for pergamon update, I played until 270 and it seems to work fine.
- diplomat and spy, assassin are still in green
- campaign map flag have the Epirus symbol
- From the begening, Pergamon is at war with Rome, Carthage...need to check historical alliance with selucide or ptoleme, makedon, greek cities, pontus...
- maybe u should delete the blacksmith already avaible from the start in Pergam ???
1, 2) This is known, and I'm really bad at skinning, so I don't know whether this can be changed unless I get some help. I'm going to try to change the skins this weekend.

3) This will be fixed in a coming update, hopefully the first.
4) I really don't know why the EB team included it in the first place, but I think they had a good reason, and if someone can give another than game balancing, I probably won't remove it.
I will put in some sewers in Pergamon, though.

Did you change recruitment for these factions. and if you did how would i change the faction from casse for the belgae with saba
Changing unit recruitment is a very long and tedious task which can meet with LOTS of problems, that's one of the reasons why I chose factions that have the same culture (and thus, mostly units) to switch.

ya i would do it but the recruitment is really complicated in eb and i would have no idea how to do it
Does the Bosphoras (spelling?) kingdom work? It says outdated??
Doesn't work yet, I'm afraid.

Hi, I know this is well old, but these files aren't available anymore. Does anyone know where I might find them. I'm interested to know what files are changed etc., what I wish to do is transform the Casse into Pergamon. Sacrilege, I know, but I just find the Casse play no part in any campaign, they just seem like a waste of a slot, and ...though I have no problem per sé with the Belgae I think they are better represented by Eleutheroi, and Pergamon played a pretty vital role in the Greek/Anatolian sphere.
Cheers.
Casse make a good Galatia.
It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR
