    Default Base game stability

Is the M2:TW engine more stable than the R:TW one? Can you tell in general that you get less, more or the same amount of ctds while playing M2?

The unfortunate drawback of EB is the amount of repeatable ctds that brings a campaign to a halt. I suspect that most of them are engine related. Can we hope for a more stable EB2?

I have to say that I have played hundreds of turns of EB1 without a single ctd. Are there other factors involved?

Kingdoms is pretty good about stability.

Yeah! Really stable. I have never seen CTD from Kingdoms.
Just heavy lag when troop were more than 2000 men on my oldy PC.

Its not even RTW lag, M2TW has some sort of frame rate limit thing so it will stay smoother.

Haven't ever had a problem with Vanilla MT2 but the SS 6.2 has caused some CTD though not often. Never had a problem with RTW, again unless I installed a mod.
