u guys really did outclass us though, when u pulled pev downstairs on sewers and i went after him (gotta protect my kind, ya know) someone else immediately pounced the dude who was still upstairs checking the rooms. simply brilliant

Well, we had fun and I hope you guys did too. We're always open for games (Veho and myself) unless we're busy with other crap like papers we're supposed to be writing.
Also: that smoker was me. I was trying to get a good angle on pev for a good 30 seconds and finally got him, then it was just a matter of divide and conquer.

Ooops also, I was the hunter who got him upstairs.

For non-euros we normally run games from 8pm-11pm EST. The last game we ran was crazy late, started at 1:30 am EST I think. We're normally midnighters on L4D and we love to organize what Veho calls Orgah matches. If you're interested in Versus or Campaign play hit one of us up. If you're in Europe or Ausie and find yourselves online at this hour, we'd love to have you too!
We normally play Advanced and Expert on Campaign, Advanced is when we're having fun while Expert is when we're going for the achievements. Hope to see you in game!

I know that the SDK is still probably a month or two away, but what type of maps would you guys want to see being made? I wouldn't mind a more open outdoors level, similar to Blood Harvest maybe, but a lot more open and less town-like.
And maybe a level entirely in doors, that just takes place in side of bunch of buildings and maybe a sports stadium or something like that.
edit - Pevergreen I added you as well, my Steam name (just changed it) is Hedley Lamarr.

It was good. Me&CR& a pubbie are the winners.
My best moment recently was on NM 2, where you usually ambush them from above. One guy went back in the safe room to grab his healh kit, but the others had dropped down, so i pounced him. They didnt shoot through walls to kill me, so i killed him, and as I killed him, one of the others managed to get up, so i pounced him, killed him.
They ran downstairs to where the first possible lot of tier 2 weapons are, but one ran too far forward, so I pounced the slower one, killed him.
3 kills and they didnt even get to see the subway.
Yes, exciting games indeed. I think it was the pubbie who got a sweet smoker kill on AI Francis as he popped up the last ladder onto the roof of the No Mercy Hospital as his teammates threw a Molotov, which prevented them from coming to his rescue.
Here's an early shot in the campaign; me showing which rabbit is the boss 'round these parts:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Speaking of shooting through the walls, my favorite was hearing a boomer on the second to last NM level. So, naturally, I began shooting through all the nearby walls with my shotgun until I saw the explosion of blood.
CR
Ja Mata, Tosa.
The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder
Our tank had some really wierd buggy issues on the NM finale. He should have been able to one shot the AI Zoey but instead was unable to interact with her model. Was frustrating, but we had plenty of other chances to win that we wasted too so I can't blame it all on lag.
good game, it was close. Also Rabbit: You'll get yours next time!

Ah yes, me playing as Tosa.
Husar kept whinging at me in ETW MP chat. lol
I think it was the survivor-on-incap-survivor-immune-to-tank bug. I've heard about it.
I do think they just left the AI francis though. Just milling around.
Man, if you guys played on AUS servers, where my actions wouldnt have a 2.8 second delay...
You guys complained of lag and it was like 1.3-1.4 seconds. I check your pings a lot. Humph.
And CR im consider leaving australia, just because of the internet.
Australia (New England...plus aborigines)
BLARGH!
After playing this with a few friends previously I finally got myself a copy
I've been playing on and off for about 5 hours total today, but unfortunately all of my games have gone horribly awry. The latest game for example ended when the infested team (which hosted the server apparently) decided that since we weren't playing as they wanted they should send endless hordes against us. It seems that somehow I am a magnet for all the bad pubbies
Feel free to add me and perhaps I'll get to experience playing this game with people who not only know what they're doing but are also looking to both win and have fun, I'm "Snow_083".
I've been trying to play on expert, but I can seem to do it. For instance, a few seconds ago, I was playing Death Toll on expert and our team couldn't even get to the first safe house with two tries. Then we set it to advanced and we all made it through the entire campaign with out any incidents at all, really. It seems I can beat all of the campaigns on advanced with out any trouble (well, it is still a little bit challenging, but not really), but I can't play on expert at all. What do I need to keep in mind when playing expert versus playing advanced?
In expert everyone needs to work together even more so than advanced. Think of it like Noah's Ark, two by two. NO ONE goes off by themselves, If someone is shooting one way then you have to cover them from an opposite direction. Even one infected can ruin your day so you really need to keep people from getting jumped from behind.
Friendly fire NEEDS to be controlled on Expert. If you shoot someone in the head they will go down, no exceptions. Don't try to peal zombies off of people with a shotgun, and if you do make sure you know how. Melee spam is your friend.
We were all close together - perhaps too close together? Now that I that I think about it, friendly fire might have been our big issue.

Man...
I'm getting really tempted to go and get this game...
But I'm a poor college student and already invested 50 bucks into ETW...
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
Ha that silly witch... She'll never get me. Just you watch, nev... omg its a witch, WHAT DO I D......
