    Default Modding the full game

Since modding the full game and the demo are quite different, I thought the full game should have it's own thread.

I unpacked the models.pack and got access to all the textures, I've been playing around with a few that I had made up from the demo but something I seem to be noticing is although the uniforms vary in style (pant colors etc) the faces are all alike, the textures have three or four faces yet a unit spawns with the same exact face, odd.

Update:Turns out you have to have unit detail to ultra to get different faces.

Right now I'm trying to unpack the ui.pack to edit some flags but it seems to just hang there insetad of extract.

Update:Apperently the game doesn't like it when you unpack the UI.pack and then put it in the already excisting UI folder, the campaign game loads up fine but when I go into a battle the game crashes. Looks like I'll have to reinstall the game.

Haven't tried it myself but it sounds promising.

Looks like it works, you just need a hex editor, I say mod at your own risk. The seems to be a problem with fow though.

Pack file manger, very usefull, no more unpacking! I was able to change a French flag to one I made for the demo without having to unpack the UI.pack. Sweet!! Better still, no ctd!!

I think it looks better than the default blue, plus I made those aweful belts white. I'm thinking about giving light inf white facings and grenadiers gold. Plus I want to fix the officers to have the same matching blue.

Changing faction colors via hex editing. It's a WIP, but it sounds very interesting.

Mix and match animations, whole lot of potential there. There are even some screens of Cossacks fireing while prone.
