Examples of:

Dual Line force splitting at 5th rate, Line, Wheel, Encircle, and Opposition Dual Lines.

Dual Lines is already documented. But placing your smaller ships in the second line, and keeping them to the outside of your larger ships so they can be protected and still fire, is an interesting innovation of mine (don’t know about anybody else).

Then again, making that second line pass in opposition to the first, as shown here might be a first also. Please have a look at this replay, an tell me what you think

getting the sails to furl when i want them to.

seriously, good stuff tomi. i'm completely lost when it comes to the water part of etw. 'course i've only played two battles online. critter helped me quite a bit in the last naval battle, but it's interesting enough for me to want to learn how to fight on wooden ships.
