I admit the rules are a little ambiguous. Because it doesn't specifically state it is like the last game, I am assuming it's a more traditional mafia, except with a townie we should not lynch.

There is no way for the Leader to let us know who he is. If he is killed, we lose.

So, even if we try to lynch someone, there's an equal chance that we will lynch him over the Bad One. And there's an even bigger chance that we hit one of our own. I'd prefer that the Bad One do our dirty work for us. And it's not kills, it's kill.

There's another option. We can choose to trust someone with our information, and they can lead our efforts... and just hope that person isn't the Bad One. That's risky but I think it could be better than blind lynches.
