i cant open europa barbarorum. help!

i installed rtw gold edition and the barbarion invasion. then i downloaded the eb 1.1. during the setup it said that it was going to install eb in c/rome total war but that the destination was invalid. "click yes if you expected this and no if you did not." i went ahead and clicked yes. it refuses to open. all i have is this recruitment viewer thing. which is nice, but worthless.
i uninstalled bi, because i read somewhere that you cant have that on. it still wont open. what should i do? uninstall eb and try again, or do i have to reinstall rtw also? plz help! i just got a new comp, and this is the first game im installing, i miss it sooo much :'(

Ask in the EB forum, and/or read the instructions for installing it. I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to install to just a random folder, you need to install it to a particular location, probably the location where you installed RTW to, and you can leave BI, it doesn't interfere with EB at all.
