Nope. If you do a complete reinstall and then install BC 2.0 with the 2.02 patch, you should be able to play hotseats.
Just be sure, since you have Vista, to manually delete everything in the "user/appdata/local/virtual store/sega/medieval II total war file. That is key!

No. The files are hidden. Here's a link to view your hidden files. Make sure your account is on administrator, too.I can't even find that file
Also, if you are going to reinstall, you might want to go ahead and reinstall in the default program files. I don't think it will really effect anything if you don't, but it couldn't hurt. lol.

Why don't I just sub your turn for you again? If by next turn you still can't run the game, then you can leave us, I guess.
Also, let me upload my BC files tonight over Mediafire. Once it's uploaded, I'll send you the link. Maybe that will work.
In the meantime, man, just PM me some basic instructions and I'll sub this turn.

Ha ha! God, I haven't seen that movie in forever. I remember why all the black troops weren't standing in that vid, too ("Operation Get behind the darkies").
Yeah, and Balthor is having problems with BC 'cos he has M2TW on Steam... so... yeah. Hopefully, the Turks AND the Armenians won't have to drop, or else the Romans will be tearing through Anatolia singing "death comes ripping!" <-- Man, I've had that song stuck in my head all day.
