I made a research on Getai Helmets and I found the most famous helmets discovered in Romania. They date from about IV-III century BC. At most of the Getai helmets you can see this symbols: an eagle with a fish in it's beac and a rabbit or baby boar in one of his clows and / or a stag or a deer. This symbols were universal amongst the many tribes of the Getai. They chose this symbols because they were great hunters! This symbols and helmets were unique, without any influnce from Greeks. Alexander the Great, king of Macedon had a military campaign in Getai regions. From that point on both nations had major influences on each other.
And Paullus this helmets weren’t ceremonial they were worn by Getai kings so maybe the faction leader could wear the royal gold Cotofanesti helmet…

alea iacta est
Great pictures man. I already knew some of them, but you did a good research work.
True very well done I can say I discovered new things myself
Just a little curious about which animations you are going to you for the Falx, as the standard 2 handed sword animation may not fit in precisely with how the weapon was used.
We will customize that animation, mainly the strikes (the predominantely downward cutting strikes of the falx), but other anims have got priority first, so they will probably not be in the first release.
But they are on the to-do list.
La Iordanes, tara Getia avea 4 regate: 1. Cauconi in Moldova, vezi apropierea Neamtului de Ceahlau (Kogaion). Bistrita/Siret==Plutasi 2. Daci(Draci==Taifali) in jurul Clujului. Curtea regala in jurul Clujului. Feleacul = "munte sfant" (Valeac >>>Valachia>>>Olahi).
Come again?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
According to Jordanes [Gothic historian], Getia had four regate [I'm not sure what this is, but my guess is ethnic group]: 1. the Cauconi in Moldava [today a small nation bordering Romania to the east; I'm not sure if he's referring to the same place], seen [?] near Kogaionon [the Getic holy mountain]. Bistrita/Siret==Plutasi [referring to the names of a river; see here] 2. Daci (Dragons==Taifali) [probably referring to the symbol of the Taifals] in the area of Cluj [modern day Romanian metropolis]. Curtea regala [they ruled?] in the area of Cluj. Feleacul = "holy mountain" (Valeac[?]>>>Wallachia>>>Olahi[?]). From them came [?] secuimea [maybe referring to Szekely Land?] (old Dacia)-you can see that there is a volcano there and probably the Dacian healers made medicine with what was available in the area (sulfuric water="dead" water, "living" water = mineral water with sea sa [I think he means sare - salt]; see Apa Vie). "Historical Odin with his saga"==Eddas (perhaps referring to Edda?] says from Valaskjalf (that is, Cluj) and that greater Scythia==the Romania of today. 3.Visigoths (the Getae of the Greuthungi) in Banat (the Romanian, Serbian, and Oltenian portions). The capital was at Burebista's Argedava, not at Pitesti, thermal baths at Goagiu. 4. Ostrogoths of the Olt, Siret, and Danube rivers. Capital at Fagaras (Galtis) on the Olt River.
My best attempt. It's a shame when one can't speak the language of his native country fluently.
Hmm... I guess the animations for the English billmen were no good, huh?We will customize that animation, mainly the strikes (the predominantely downward cutting strikes of the falx), but other anims have got priority first, so they will probably not be in the first release.
But they are on the to-do list.
Seems like a lot of babbling - mixing in dacians, szekely, proto-germans, goths in an incoherent I don't know what. Claiming that Ceahlău massif is Kogaion (Ceahlău being in the Oriental Carpathians, rather than the Meridional C.), royal Dacian court in the area of Cluj (Napoca), equating visigoths with a branch of dacians, Deva as Argedava instead of near Pitești (Deva isn't even on the Argeș, or the right side of the Carpathians). Bad Romanian is some sections too.
Is there any chance to get the images again? None of the units images is available now.
Edit: reviewed the romanii previews and they have the same problem. Also, if there is anything I can do to solve the problem, count with my help. I see that the "All previews in one thread" has not been updated since 2008, IF I can do something with that, please don't hesitate to tell me. Best. Quetzalcóatl.

There haven't been new posts, but the post should be updated. Normally all the non stickied preveiws should be in there.
I'll check about the images.
Thanks Moros. I saw later that the "All previews in one thread" has been updated by Xsamatan, but to acknowledge that I had to look at the end of the thread itself. Best.
