    Yeah right....

    That was strange, unlike centurion & sigurd, we didn't stick, yet we both still had the same choices.

    You can do it Ichi! Ichi means number 1

    My guess of the tournament.
    1st place: Csargo
    2nd place: Sigurd
    3rd place: TM

    See how that goes

    Day 2 results:

    The initial excitement that ratcheted up the crowd for yesterday's matches has died down somewhat, but the contestants still enter a packed and noisy stadium as they prepare to battle today's opponents. After one day, the standings are evenly spread out, with four people having won, four people having lost, and four people having tied. People are waiting for a hierarchy to be established and for a separation to happen.

    As the referee enters, everybody silences though, knowing that there will be only minutes before their hopes are answered. He acknowledges the contestants and raises his hand into the air.

    "Rock... paper... scissors... shoot!"

    Double A, one of the early winners, faces off against one of the people who drew yesterday, Sigurd. Double A decides to stick with what worked for him yesterday, by once again throwing Paper. However, Sigurd, who has noted the general trend of paper being victorious, is ready for him and counters by throwing Scissors, smirking as he sends Double A off grumbling.
    Sigurd defeats Double A

    Up next is Yaseikhaan against defending champion CountArach, both of whom lost yesterday and are searching for their first points. CA, probably thinking like Sigurd, goes for the paper-killer and throws Scissors. However, he has overthought the situation, as he groans when he realizes that khaan has simply stuck with Rock. The crowd gasps as the defending champion has now played two matches and has nothing to show for it.
    Yaseikhaan defeats CountArach

    Two players that drew yesterday are next, with Centurion1 facing off against former superfan Jolt. For the third match in a row, someone throws Scissors as Centurion makes the proper gesture with his hand. It is now up to Jolt to see whether he has overthought it or made the right move. It turns out to be the latter, as Jolt has thrown Paper and immediately curses.
    Centurion1 defeats Jolt

    Death is Yonder, fresh off his victory off CA and hoping to build up some momentum for once, battles Csargo in the next match. Those hoping for a quick victory, however, are denied as both players initially throw Paper. Now the real chess match begins, as the two men stare each other down before the referee signals a rethrow. On the second throw, Csargo yells in triumph as his Paper defeats DiY's Rock.
    Csargo defeats Death is Yonder

    Thermal Mercury and Stildawn are next, having both failed to achieve a full victory yesterday. They are looking at each other as an easy target today to gain some points in the standings. However, both prove to be initially evenly matched as each man throws Scissors. Stildawn, however, decides to change it up on the second throw by throwing Rock, which easily trumped Thermal's conservative choice of Scissors.
    Stildawn defeats Thermal Mercury

    The final match of the day is between Sprig and Sasaki Kojiro, in a classic example of what happens when you overthink things in this tournament. Sasaki, noting the Paper trend of yesterday and seeing how many people reacted to it, decides to follow the trend and pick the most common choice, Scissors. Sprig, however, is having none of it and simply decides to throw Rock, which immediately nullifies Sasaki's logic.
    Sprig defeats Sasaki Kojiro

    Standings through Day 2:
    Sprig: 2
    Centurion1: 1.5
    Sigurd: 1.5
    Double A: 1
    Death is Yonder: 1
    Csargo: 1
    Stildawn: 1
    Yaseikhaan: 1
    Sasaki Kojiro: 1
    Thermal Mercury: 0.5
    Jolt: 0.5
    CountArach: 0
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It is now Day 3!
    Day 3 matchups:
    Double A vs. CountArach
    Sigurd vs. Jolt
    Yaseikhaan vs. Csargo
    Centurion1 vs. Stildawn
    Death is Yonder vs. Sasaki Kojiro
    Thermal Mercury vs. Sprig
    I had Csar down as beating Jolt instead of DiY. Along with Centurion defeating Jolt (which was correct).
    well i sen tin my orders. after doing the average stats for probability in my head, ive determined that stildawn can take three separate and likely paths. after determining which one of these three paths is most probable i made my assumptions. of course an element of luck is included but winning this way is much harder than winning in a game with someone face to face.
    Day 3 results
    With two days having finished in the tournament, people are starting to look for some separation. Right now, a gap of two points separates first from last place, but that is the maximum amount and a cluster of ten people lie in between. With the next two days in the tournament, people are looking for hierarchies to establish themselves and matchups to circle on their calendars.
    Will Day 3 provide it? The massive audience packing the stadium can only watch and find out. The referee walks in, acknowledges the contestants, and raises his hand in the air.
    "Rock... paper... scissors... shoot!"
    In the first match, Double A is battling defending champion CountArach, who has not had the best start to his title defense by being the only player to outright lose both of his initial matches. Double A, meanwhile, is looking to establish himself as a front-runner in the tournament after falling to Sigurd yesterday. In the end though, CA rights his ship and finally gets himself on the board by throwing Paper, which covers Double A's Rock. Exiting to raucous applause, CA grins to himself, hoping he's back in that groove. Double A, meanwhile, realizes that he could be in the middle of a full-blown skid, having not accumulated any points in two days now.
    CountArach defeats Double A
    The day's second match is between Sigurd and Jolt. Jolt, having tied Thermal Mercury on Day 1 and lost to Centurion yesterday, is looking for his first outright win in the tournament, while Sigurd is looking to continue his strong play and resolve his inconsistency issues from the last tournament. Jolt decides to go with good old reliable Rock, but visibly grimaces when he sees Sigurd's Paper. An uneasy mutter picks up among the crowd after seeing this. After three days, this much is clear: The Dragonslayer has come to play.
    Sigurd defeats Jolt
    The next match has two one-point scorers facing off against each other: Yaseikhaan and Csargo. Both men are looking to sacrifice the other to catapult themselves in the rankings and establish themselves among the first tier. In the end, Yaseikhaan's wish is granted, his Rock crushing Csargo's throw of Scissors. Csargo exits the stadium, serenaded by cheers from "The Ichigo Fan Club", but he does not notice, only vowing vengeance starting tomorrow.
    Yaseikhaan defeats Csargo
    Centurion1, tied for second at the start of the day, looks to match Sigurd with a win of his own, although a worthy foe stands in his way in Stildawn. "Ha," Centurion says, "I drew Sigurd and defeated Jolt, while you only beat Thermal and lost to Sasaki. Clearly, the quality of opponents I have faced is superior. You have no chance." Stildawn says nothing, clearly trying to concentrate on the match. The two men throw, Centurion's Paper covering Stildawn's Rock. "Ha," Centurion said, "I knew it. Enjoy mediocrity." The crowd's volume rose appreciably. Has this tournament officially gotten a villain?
    Centurion1 defeats Stildawn
    Death is Yonder, meanwhile, tries not to psych himself out. "It's only one game," he tells himself. "One game. This is not going to be a repeat of last time. I can beat other people besides CA. Wouldn't have made the semis if I couldn't." His opponent, Sasaki Kojiro, views this inner monologue and just smirks. Sometimes, he realizes, it's best if you don't have a history. Tabula rasa and all that. DiY finally composes himself, and the two throw. Scissors. DiY's inner monologue now starts to go into overdrive, trying to go through all of the possibilities as well as ramifications. He hopelessly overthinks the situation, and mutters "I knew it" as his Rock loses to Sasaki's Paper. DiY will have to work to save himself from another round-robin hole.
    Sasaki Kojiro defeats Death is Yonder
    In the final match of the day, Thermal Mercury takes on first-place Sprig, in what is the widest differential in point value we have seen so far in the tournament. Sprig is the only one remaining who has a perfect record, while Thermal is still searching for his first win. Thermal is only hoping for a draw right now, thinking that he'll kick-start his run up the leaderboard starting tomorrow, and is thus encouraged by the results of the initial throw: Both men have chosen Rock. However, he is as shocked as everybody else to see what happens next: His Paper covers Sprig's Rock. Just like that, there is only half a point separating the two.
    Thermal Mercury defeats Sprig
    Standings through Day 3:
    Centurion1: 2.5
    Sigurd: 2.5
    Yaseikhaan: 2
    Sasaki Kojiro: 2
    Sprig: 2
    Thermal Mercury: 1.5
    Double A: 1
    CountArach: 1
    Death is Yonder: 1
    Csargo: 1
    Stildawn: 1
    Jolt: 0.5
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    It is now Day 4!

    Day 4 matchups:

    Double A vs. Jolt
    CountArach vs. Csargo
    Sigurd vs. Stildawn
    Yaseikhaan vs. Sasaki Kojiro
    Centurion1 vs. Sprig
    Thermal Mercury vs. Death is Yonder
