    Hey everyone,

    I was just wondering if there were any Senior Members? Currently I've seen guys with "Memeber since June of 2000, Junior Member" ROFL. Has anyone seen the elusive Senior Member or is it an urban legend (I have a friend who has a friend who's cousin knows someone who is a senior member).

    Hey nice,

    I didnt think to look in there. A good question was brought up though what makes a senior member? Is it amount of post, how long a person has been a member or a combination of both?

    A couple of interesting things I saw:

    1)The Shogun was a member since Nov 1983. Hehe, was the internet even around in 1983, lol.

    2) Eat Cold Steel is member since Aug 2002 but is already a senior member and he has 38 post.

    I'm just curious.

    You know what I actually think it might have to do with age of the poster. Because I have seen new posters who have not really done anything to deserve such a rank and I can't think of a better explanation. I can understand Shogun and Eat Cold Steel, but not some of the others. So I think it is more like a senior citizen thing on these forums not some kind of worthy title. The fact that there are only ten makes sense since the age of most posters is somewhere between 15 and the mid/late 20s. Next thing you know people will be lying about their age just to get the title. You mods better start carding suspicious posters .

    Dont know why i was "knighted" but it may have sumthingto do with providing a different point of veiw and having interesting but non offencive disscusions.

    PS im 17 so its nothing to do with age of members.

    Actualy Knight Yellow, you are still only a little old Senior Patron, like me. Senior Members are who we are looking for and it is an auwful lot more difficult to become one of them than it is one of us.
    I have seen the odd one posting on the boards. How does one become a senior member, because one of them has only made like 170 posts, they must have had a lot of useful info in them

    it was just the way that you were talking about being 'knighted' and being only 17 so age making no difference. I thought you were talking about you being a Senior Member
    you are made a Knight for posting above 100 posts i think BTW.

    And if it is done by age i have a long way to go, I am only 16
