    Miss the old days of the (often relatively useless but still) fun Brady Games and Prima guides . . .

    They're still around, woeful as ever.

    I happened across the Left4Dead one a few days ago...it showed routes throught each level...yet it missed the best ways...

    Not for Total War, though.

    Ever since computer games went to the small boxes and miniscule manuals many years ago, I started buying the strategy guide for every game I could (a computer game is not a computer game unless it has DOS-era-sized documentaion to go with it).
