Whoever did it, did something very low.

Out of everyone else who is basically a valid candidate, they purposefully picked the person who just returned to mafia games, and saying "random.org told me too" isn't a valid excuse. It is one of the unwritten rules of mafia games. You don't first-night kill people who are trying to return or start mafia, it just makes them not want to sign up again, which depletes the population pool and turns people away from Mafia. You also don't first-round/Metagame the same people over and over either. As they no longer want to play as what would be the point if they get constantly first-turn investaged and revealed as mafia straight away.

I hope they get revealed soon though, I am very interested in who it was. I am hoping it was a newbie who simply didn't know better, because I hate to develop a low opinion of a regular.

Kage was just sore that he was a scum role and was the first lynched from a long exodus. Though killing from the grave definitely kept him around.

It should not be taken the least bit seriously, I had not even read my role PM at the time of posting that. Though of course I *am* a harmless little noob padawan out of the game. Aren't we all?

The thing is, it wasn't even a pressure vote. What pressure, where is the pressure? it was just a OMGUS vote.

If you wanted to attempt to pressure Sasaki, even saying something like "You seem too quick to jump the gun at the new guy. vote: sasaki". Not going "oh yeah.. erm... also.. here is a pressure vote. vote: sasaki". By saying 'pressure vote' you actually remove validiation from your own vote.

Being new, I also have to assume that he is referencing to Chaotix's ill-understood obscure reference as a basis, or he actually knows something about mafia. Knowing the circles around here from places like CFC, one is to assume he has actually played mafia before, if not the gameroom.

So tell us more about yourself, Nikky.

Yes. Indeed. Brilliant deduction that. Sasaki indeed seems quick to jump the gun at the new guy, which is scummy on the one hand but not necessarily scummy scummy. Thus my non-pressure "pressure vote" should simply be read as "please remove your vote from me and I will return the courtesy", though in far fewer, but more meaningful, words. But things like that are like jokes, they're only amusing until you have to explain them.

I'm sure the CFC crowd around here will be happy to tell you that I'm no newbie, no point in hiding that. I've played in a number of mafia-esqe games over at CFC, though to be honest they differ quite a lot in form from here (a much heavier role-playing element in particular). But I've read through a few games on this board so I'm picking up the drill and vocabulary as fast as possible.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH WHOEVER YOU ARE!

Probably pever, he wants me to join his game and I said only one game at a time.
Just an idea though. Can't join his game now for fear that this is true, have to cross evil plan.
