Seemingly silly question from experienced Org member...

...is it possible to play a "normal" campaign as France in N:TW?

As in start at the beginning time frame and just play through non-historically.

I’m not so sure what you mean.

The French campaign starts off in 1805. In game terms you can developed techs and accomplish victory conditions until late Dec 1812 but you can play on from there. Nothing else can be researched but you can play until late Dec 2012 if you want...past that point, who knows.

Yes. You can start one. Just select the European campaign in Napoleons Campaign. You will get some missions but you can ignore them. Of course most major factions don't like you but that's normal since you are playing the French.
