In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces.
I have got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel

The last game I was in that had money involved was Star Wars at CFC (our esteemed host loved that game), I was the Emperor and we won the game by buying the neutral's votes. I don't think I will look upon your (supposed) wealth as a sign of innocence Mr THIS.

I have to admit that I am puzzled as to why you start giving all this information, like candies on Halloween.
If you can track people (or actually, know that they didn't do anything at night), why would you reveal on day 2 instead of waiting to collect more information? It seems to me that such an early reveal isn't wise unless you have undeniable proof that someone is a killer.
Also, what are the "basic needs" you want money for?
The bandwagon on Arpeg picked up awfully quick.
unvote: Arpeg; Imprison: Pinman;
3rd on the bandwagon. Vote without giving a reason. Scummy, scummy. Would you care to elaborate on your vote Pinman?
Oh, and I also came up with further evidence to prove my innocence, if you'll believe it. Closer examination of the night writeup revealed this:
"The plate-clad assailant wheeled around with surprising agility and struck again with a heavy-handed vertical strike that Romanic narrowly evaded; the axe slammed down upon the cold stone where he had been stood and a crack emerged along the impact zone, such was the power behind the blow."
I do not carry an axe; I carry a dwarven shortsword. Make of that what you will.
Arpeggio: A broken chord. Arpeggiate: Breaking up a chord. ArpeggiateTHIS, scumbag.

Just an observation here, but weapons seem only useful to people who try to kill. (AFAIK, Secura mentioned in her preview thread that some people can vig, there might be an SK also) Anyways, it might be good to keep the weapons away from those doing the killing. Not sure exactly how though, since bidding is secret. Any ideas?
Pool money together and make sure we win the bidding, you need people you trust to do that of course. I don't see any clearly innocent people as yet, or even anybody unlikely to be scum.
Gosh!
Just got back from work and I have a helluva lot of PMs to go through... so much more fun than watching kite-surfers fail hard.
Y'all rock. <3

Never mind, asked Secura. You could kindasorta of prove it, but it would take a couple of days. You could sell an item to "her" (the merchants) and it would be put up for sale again the next day. But she has no money yet today with which to buy it.
That isn't a good sign... :/
This is correct; basically, the merchants currently have no gold.
Once the two items are sold, all proceeds are added to their pockets, which can then be used to buy items from you guys; essentially you PM me during the night to sell the item with a price you think it's worth, we'll haggle a little... once a price is agreed, you get some of the merchant's gold and they will try to peddle your old stuff during the next day phase.
You are able to hold multiple items (say... you're wearing a chainmail cuirass but you're also holding a leather chestpiece and some standard clothes), but you only gain benefits from the one you've equipped in that slot... if you change items around (say you win the sword, for example, and want it to replace your dagger), let me know.
I'm hoping that wasn't too complicated... not sure I should keep the game going if it gets too hard for people to understand. >.<

(It's not your fault, Secura. I'm in five games right now, just wrapped up a sixth (and about to start a new sixth) on another site; and it's all gone a bit blurry. It's not just this game, it's all of them. Just I'm already familiar with the rules of all the rest.)
